SC&T Rebranding Design
SC&T is a 20-year-old company that specializes in manufacturing audio-visual signal transmission equipment for installation vendors around the world.
SC&T hired Level to rebrand the company to better position it for new market opportunities.

Acer Brand Identity Re-Design
Acer is a consumer electronics brand with more than 40 years of history. The company met serious challenges when the public's perception of the brand became overwhelmingly linked to entry and mass-market, as opposed to high quality, premium products.
While our founding members were employed at Acer, we undertook the challenge to reinvent Acer's brand identity to bring out a more premium side of the brand, while continuing to embrace the company's approachable and friendly nature.
We did this by greatly simplifying the overall visual system, and in the process consolidated more than ten brand guidelines into one master brand book. We defined a stronger, more clear tone of voice and focused heavily on reinventing the communications to infuse more of the brand's master green color, helping it stand out amongst key competitors Dell, HP, Lenovo, and ASUS.

Acer Predator Brand Identity Design
Predator is an Acer sub-brand born with the intent of creating best-in-class experiences for hardcore PC gamers. As a new gaming brand entering a crowded and competitive market, we needed to create an identity that not only stood out from the competition, but positioned Predator to shine above them.
While our founding members were employed at Acer, we undertook the challenge to build the Predator identity with a simple and edgy visual system, using custom digital art throughout its marketing communications.
The digital art featured an alien-like tribe in each piece with the Predator logo. With dozens of wild alien worlds showing these characters conquering and claiming victory across the universe, we broke free from the competition who primarily used video game art in their communications—making them all feel the same. The custom Predator artwork helped the brand stand out through a new angle to attract PC gamers.
In just a few years, Predator has risen as a top PC gaming brand and continues to conquer new worlds.

Lola Von Vega - Fashion Brand Identity Design
Lola Von Vega is a fashion brand that creates accessories for the urban chic. Founded by an ambitious executive in Hong Kong with a passion for dance, she approached us looking to create a visual identity for a fashion brand inspired by the dance world, with accessory designs that take a page from dance costumes but can be worn on a night out or at a stylish office.
We created logos, colors, typography, and key visuals that fall in line with the brand's mission of promoting bold self expression in women, resulting in a cohesive brand identity that brings the company's mission and founder's vision to life.

Quizoo
Background
Quizoo is a live streaming mobile app and quiz game that lets users compete in ten-question trivia matches for real prizes.
Scope and Role
We created a product strategy for the app, including a full visual and brand identity (positioning in the market, brand voice, etc.) to ensure that the game would stand out from competing quiz apps, and make a splash in the market for being fun, addictive, and educational.
We also worked closely with the development team, advising on how to best implement the brand identity.

Refract - Naming, and Brand Identity Deishign
Refract is a blockchain-based platform that allows for the tokenization and trading of securities through its exchange. Imagine being able to buy a piece of a building in New York City and earning dividends on its rental earnings—this is the advantage that Refract brings to the table.
We were hired to consult on a new name for the company's master brand name, and sub-brand names, as it had merged with two other companies. We created a brand identity that helped establish the new merger, and set it the company up for success.

Niche Fintech Brand Identity Design
Niche is a blockchain-based platform that allows companies to extend the reach of their email marketing campaigns by targeting individuals in other companies' CRM databases without exposing any personal data. We were hired to create its brand identity, website, UI working prototype, corporate collateral, and marketing materials.

Viral Access
Viral Access is a foreign owned and operated social media influencer marketing agency based in China. They had been operating for several years, however their branding didn't convey the power of influencer marketing, which is currently turning the marketing world on its head.
We created an eye-catching visual brand identity to highlight the emergence of influencer marketing as a disruptive marketing force to be reckoned with, using vibrant purples, bold and clear typography, and a design system implemented among their existing touch points.
We also provide the backbone to Viral Access' creative team by creating influencer marketing concepts and design support that helps the influencers they work with promote brands in natural ways for clients such as Spotify, Mercedes-Benz, Diageo, and many more.

gabi+skin
gabi+skin is a natural skincare brand and a side project of mine. The brand is aimed at young women, who can use the products featuring coffee extract to help revitalize skin.
Scope and Role
We created a new brand identity and messaging framework for the company to help establish the brand and communicate consistently across touchpoints.
We created an eCommerce website with a premium look and feel through its minimalist design approach, earthy colors, and subtle typography, resulting in a homegrown brand that is now getting global attention. https://www.gabiskin.com/

Medical Technology Startup Brand Identity Design
GeneRight is a blockchain-based platform that allows individuals to license and manage their health and genetic data in exchange for monetary compensation. We were hired to create the company's brand identity, website, corporate collateral, and marketing materials to convey a clean, professional, and friendly look and feel that would be appropriate for a health-related platform, but also help visually differentiate the brand from competitors.
We created a logo mark that combined a heart and DNA strand, and a soothing color palette that's easy on the eyes, but still stands out amongst the sterile health industry branding that's so prevalent.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of an early-stage software-as-a-service technology startup targeting customer service departments.
For what projects/services did your company hire Level Interactive?
Overall brand strategy, new logo and design development.
What were your goals for this project?
As an early-stage startup, our minimum viable product was already being used in production, but the product (and company) looked like it was still under development. We needed a brand strategy to make our company and product more polished and consistent.
How did you select Level Interactive?
Level was referred to me via a trusted contact when I asked around for a design agency.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Started with a kickoff meeting and provide key inputs. Then they went to do their own research on the competitive landscape. Refined our brand definitions (story, mission, values, messaging, etc.). Developed several stylescapes.
Once one was selected, started to iterate on logo concepts and designs. Other materials such as stationery, a presentation deck, and an updated website were developed. A branding guidelines PDF was the final deliverable.
What was the team composition?
I mostly worked with two designers, one of whom is the agency founder.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We've completely revamped our website and application user interfaces to match the new branding. So far, I'm getting very positive feedback on the new branding.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We mostly worked with Slack and Notion to communicate and manage the project with occasional video conferences. The team's communications were always responsive.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I think the most important aspect of branding is the concept and they spent a lot of time refining various concepts to find one that works for what we do.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We did run into an issue with the original logo design having a trademark conflict with a different company in a similar industry sector causing us to have to quickly redesign the logo while trying to maintain the original concept.
I know that looking for trademark conflicts is a difficult thing and is more of a legal issue than a design issue, so I am not sure what to suggest. But if there was a better process for seeking potential trademark issues, it would help them to improve the success of future projects. Despite this issue, overall I'm satisfied with the work.

For what projects/services did your company hire Level Interactive?
Brand visual image reconstruction
What were your goals for this project?
The main goal of the cooperation is to re-establish a company's brand image in the next 10 years that is in line with the world's trends, which can highlight and amplify the characteristics and value of the company's services when it is with competitors in the industry.
How did you select Level Interactive?
In total, we contacted three different vendors, and each of them had a formal proposal and offer to us. The choice of Level Interactive was decided by myself and the company’s marketing director after discussion. The main reasons for choosing Level Interactive are as follows a few points:
- The brand cases completed by Level Interactive in the past have a clear and distinctive visual image, which is the most prominent among manufacturers.
- The brand book produced by Level Interactive is easy to understand and attractive.
- Communication and discussion with Level Interactive are smooth and comfortable.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
The entire rebranding project is split into two parts, one is the definition of brand core values, and the other is the reconstruction of brand visual image. "Brand core value definition" is defined in cooperation with another manufacturer and transferred to Level Interactive for "branding" Visual image reconstruction".
At the beginning of the project, SC&T provided a complete outline and story of the brand's core values, and was developed by Level Interactive.
Finally, the complete brand book was organized. The final product also includes the product image, uniform, and DM , Website and other schematic diagrams, as well as finished products such as Lego, manual Icon, font and glyph.
What was the team composition?
The project cooperates with the founder, designer and project manager.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After the release of the new image, many customers have noticed the company’s changes and received good reviews from exhibition visitors at the new image exhibition.
The company’s internal employees also have great expectations for the new brand, and the overall benefits have exceeded the original plan expected.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The overall cooperation and communication are smooth, and most of the time delay is our factor. The data transmission is mainly based on the Google system. The information is clear and clear.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Level Interactive can turn the brand into a shallow, mobile and resonant, so that everyone can understand the core value of the brand that they want to convey.
Are there any areas for improvement?
In terms of brand core values, if there are more detailed service processes or cases, the process of brand rebuilding will be more complete.

We hired Level Interactive with the goal to create a completely new website for us with a big focus on e-commerce that would display our products and show our Scandinavian heritage and our company values.
How did you select Level Interactive and what were the deciding factors?
We selected Level Interactive based on recommendations. A colleague was very satisfied with their work and recommended the agency to us.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
First, there was the starting phase where we together evaluated our previous website, the pain points and all that had to be redesigned. The agency then went through all of our wishes, gathered them and researched hundreds of templates to base the new website on.
After much consideration and in-depth research they choose a template that would be the new basic template for the new website, from there we had continuous meetings discussing all pages, features, functions and user design. The platform used for the website is Shopify.
The agency managed to find good solutions for all the different features that we wanted and really took all our wishes and thoughts very seriously and solved them in a very smooth way. The end result was a light-feeling e-commerce Shopify store with a user friendly, yet Scandinavian minimalist design expressing our company values and
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked closely together with the project manager Joshua Roberts and Alfie Chen who was the lead designer / art director.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After launching our new website we saw a great positive response from everyone who visited our new store. They said it looks so much more premium and is so much more user-friendly. The new store makes it easy to see our full assortment and we have seen that the average time spent on our website has increased.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We had weekly meetings with the project manager Joshua and the designer Alfie. At the beginning of the project they made an accurate project plan that they continuously updated us on. We communicated through Google Hangout, Slack and email.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The team worked extremely close with us and really listened to all our needs and wants. They created unique solutions for us and really made sure we were satisfied with the new website. They managed to fulfill all our wishes while creating a new design that was minimalist and premium. They also had a workshop, guiding us on how to change content ourselves.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
When the page first launched, there was only one thing that was not working and the team fixed it immediately. So no, there is nothing they could have done differently. We are very pleased with their hard work and professionalism.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder of Lola Von Vega, a Hong Kong based fashion and accessories brand. We launched in 2019 and create accessories for young women inspired by dance culture for office, casual, and nightlife wear.
For what projects/services did your company hire Level Interactive?
We needed to create a new brand identity from the ground up. This included logos, color schemes, typography, messaging, values and mission statements. Currently we are talking with Level about expanding the scope and having them create our ecommerce website.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to create a brand and visual identity that amplifies Lola Von Vega’s mission: to empower women to have confidence in their daily lives, and to express themselves outwardly through our designs inspired by dance culture. We needed a brand identity with strong and vibrant colors, and a logo and typography that gave off a premium feel without putting distance between the brand and the target audience.
How did you select this vendor?
We were referred to Level through a friend, and after the initial meeting, we have many experience on creative agencies in the past, we knew they are the agency that could deliver on this ambitious project.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
The branding project involved discovery sessions that had us doing a thorough competitor analysis to determine where we fit in the market. We needed a name that would set us apart, and also worked with the Level team on our mission and values, and the voice identity that would guide all of the copywriting. The scope also included several logos for different touchpoints, different fonts, mock ups, graphic elements, and a brand book and guidelines, as well as downloadable assets neatly organized on a cloud drive.
What was the team composition?
We worked with Josh, the founder, as well as the project management team and directly with the creative team.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After going through the brand identity creation process, we are at a point where we can deploy the branding, colors, and elements to our new ecommerce website.
We plan to implement the brand book on all further marketing campaigns. This is a big relief, as it means we don’t need to reinvent the wheel each time we launch a campaign. We just pick what we need from the brand book and add the colors, logos, and typography to the website and social media content.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had constant communication through chat and weekly calls through video call on the status of each step of the branding journey. They presented each new design with the designer on hand to introduce the different elements and explain how it ties back to the original brand story and mission. They made the necessary revisions very quickly as requested, and delivered the project on time.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The team has the ability to take my requirement and push the vision one step further to create a brand identity that would resonate over the competition. They also have a sensitive touch and understanding to their work where they would able to spot what we are looking for even our end may not able to describe or express via email or conversation. The communication was smooth and the final result exceeded my expectations.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Highly Highly recommend and we are looking forward to working with the Level team on further projects.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a co-founder of Quizoo, a new live quiz application startup based in Taiwan. It's a new way for social media influencers to interact with their fans through live-streamed quizzes where they can win real prizes. The app will (hopefully) launch in early 2020 in East Asia.
For what projects/services did your company hire Level Interactive?
We needed to create a brand identity from the ground up for both the company and the application. This included logos, color schemes, typography, messaging, values and mission statement, and copy. We also hired Level to build a simple landing page to promote the app before launch.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to differentiate ourselves from other quiz apps that seem to copy each other with the same colors and look and feel. We wanted cohesive brand guidelines that would make it easy for our marketing team to create more brand assets for different touch points, including the website, and future marketing activities like social media promotion. More importantly, we needed to give the app and the company a face through the logo, colors, and overall identity.
How did you select this vendor?
We conducted a thorough search for branding agencies who had experience creating brand identities from scratch, rather than just supporting existing branding activities. After carefully reviewing over a dozen agencies, we felt that Level had the right experience, design skills, and creativity to take on the project. When we met with Josh, the founder, we felt we were in good hands. They met us in our office, asked the right questions, and followed up with a detailed proposal.
Describe the project in detail.
Joshua and the team started by listening to our goals: to create a fun and quirky brand identity for a mostly young, Asian demographic. They followed up with style scapes, which are illustrations of several different general directions to take the brand identity. The style scapes include examples of logos, colors, fonts, and imagery. We chose one out of four versions and let the team know what we loved or didn't love about each one. The Level team then tweaked the design and followed up a week later with a fully realized logo and color scheme. After some minor adjustments, they delivered a brand book that our team now uses to guide all marketing, visuals, and touch points, including the app’s user interface.
What was the team composition?
We worked directly with Joshua, their founder, and their creative director and project manager for the project. They were very attentive and communication was prompt overall.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since working with Level, we get complimented all the time on our quiz app's visual identity. People really love the simple but unique logo that doesn't explain as much as identify our brand, something we wanted to achieve. As we prepare to launch, we're confident the branding design will set us apart from competitors.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Working with the Level team was smooth. We created a Slack channel and Joshua, the founder, as well as a project manager joined so we could keep in touch on the progress, deliver feedback in real time, and have peace of mind that our branding project was on schedule and running smoothly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was most impressed by their commitment to delivering fantastic work, and their attention to detail. They even went the extra mile and gave suggestions to our development team on how to best implement the color scheme to our UI screens, at no extra charge. They gave us valuable insight into what colors or direction would help us differentiate from the competition based on their research. The team was friendly, easygoing, accessible, but serious about getting the job done right.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There is always ways to improve, but we are genereally very satisfied with this project and look forward to working with them again in future projects.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am General Manager for South East Asia at Viral Access, an China-based influencer marketing agency. We have clients from fortune 100 companies like Apple and Disney who use our services to reach out to their target markets through influencer marketing on social media channels.
For what projects/services did your company hire Level Interactive?
We needed to create a new brand identity to replace our existing lackluster branding. This included logos, color schemes, typography, messaging, values and mission statement. Currently we have expanded the scope and have Level on retainer for numerous marketing and design services.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted an eye-catching visual brand identity to highlight the emergence of influencer marketing as a disruptive marketing force to be reckoned with, using vibrant colors, bold and clear typography, and a design system implemented among their existing touch points. We also needed design and marketing support, where Level continues to help our creative team with design and influencer marketing concepts, so the influencers we work with can effectively promote brands in natural ways for clients.
How did you select this vendor?
We were referred to Level through one of our clients who were blown away by their work. After setting up the initial discovery sessions, we were impressed by their vision for our visual identity -- a branding concept that really pops out against the competition.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We started out using Level for our brand identity design, but the scope of work greatly expanded and we have them on retainer for numerous design services, including ideation for global marketing campaigns, proposal decks, marketing strategy, and much more.
What was the team composition?
We work directly with Josh, their founder, and their creative director and project managers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have used Level design support to win pitches and close deals with some of the biggest companies in the world for social media strategy proposals, influencer marketing, and more. The Level team have an ability to see our client’s bigger goals, and our clients love their compelling marketing social media strategies. I can say Level are responsible for some of our big wins.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Working with the Level team is great. They are happy to help out with our mix of marketing activities, no matter how big or small the task. They bring an attention to detail to our projects that other agencies could not deliver, and the results speak for themselves: we simply close more clients through Level.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I’m most impressed by their way of thinking outside the box -- to use the cliche. Josh and the Level team can look at the bigger picture and hone in on what needs to be done in the short term, as well as the long term to improve our workflows and get more clients. Whether it’s installing a CMS system, making creative concepts for pitch decks, or overhauling our branding, they have delivered every time.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We look forward to watching Level grow as an agency so we can expand our cooperation for more projects.
The new branding received positive feedback. Level Interactive was able to revamp the website and all application interfaces. The software tech startup appreciated the time that the team poured into conceptualizing and redesigning the logo when it encountered trademark issues.
