We’re a fintech startup with a SaaS platform that deals with international finance. Currently, we’re exploring new markets, especially Asia. We provide training services for private investors through our platform.

We hired them for their mobile app development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

LemApp built our mobile application and modified our financial platform as well.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with 2–5 members from their team, it depends on the stage of the project.

How did you come to work with LemApp?

We had some issues with our previous partner so we held a tender to choose the new company we’d like to work with. LemApp got into the tender by recommendation from our foreign partners from Europe. After interviewing developers from their company, it became clear that we wanted to work with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in April 2018, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re very satisfied. As CEO, my main priority is that my internal project manager is happy, and LemApp is achieving that. Our team is pleased with the deliverables and their results. Feedback from users has shown that there aren’t any issues with the app. We’ll definitely continue to work with LemApp.

How did LemApp perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been a positive experience. There have been small issues with the time zone difference because we’re located in the UK and they’re in Europe. But nevertheless, we’ve been able to work through it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. I don’t work with them directly.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am director of independent private hospital. Our company has about 30 doctors and 10 service staff. We provide best possible individual healthcare services.

For what projects/services did your company hire LemApp?

We hired Lemapp because we needed to develop mobile application from scratch.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal was to develop mobile application for our clients. So they should be able to have easy access to their time schedule, their files , treatment etc. We wanted to increase our customer engagement and retention through mob. app.

How did you select this vendor?

We held a tender among Ukrainian development companies. Main reason why we choose Lemapp, because they’ve already had large experience in Healthcare industry and especially in mobile development for Healthcare. Also they had case studies on their website about their projects. By the way their price was absolutely out of competition. So at the end we had perfect balance between price and quality. Also they have outstanding designing team.

Describe the project in detail.

We started from discovery meetings and analysis stage. After we agreed on the entire functionality of the application. We moved on to the design creation part, on this part the Lemapp team provided us with 5 design variants, each of which was better than the other. Next stage was development. In 1 month Lemapp provided demo application for iOS and after a few iterations we agreed all design and functionality moments. By the end for third month we started testing both android and iOS mobile application. And at the middle of July job was completely done.

What was the team composition?

We were contacting with project manager / BA Ekaterina who were supporting us on all stages of application development. Also I was made aware that there were 1 designer and 4 mobile developers ( Android / iOS) working on our project, as well as QA at the end of the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After 6 month after we launched our mobile application we received tons of positive feedbacks from our clients. So as we can see our customer satisfaction increased hugely. Also we made an short survey among our clients to see their satisfaction from mobile app and how useful it was for them. And our expectations were 100% met. All customers noted that UI/UX was absolutely amazing and functionality met all their needs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our project manager was supporting us along all stages of development process. She were providing us updates frequently and it was easy to communicate with her. We were connected over Zoom, Slack and Telegram. Lemapp team worked ahead of schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by the timeliness of the team. Every team member had huge experience in the field they work with. Also our PM Ekaterina shared a lot of insights about user experience, development process and best practices for mobile development in healthcare industry. I certainly can recommend Lemapp to my partners because they are specialists in mobile app development.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We were satisfied with their work. They have done more than we asked for.
