Summary
The domain PrintSourceUSA.com is in dire need of a completely new website. Save for some general reference such as identifying and prioritizing our lines of business, company history, certifications and our mark, virtually everything must be conceived anew.
This site is considered the “Direct” side of our business, and is wholly separate from our Special Markets (promotional products) division which is not involved in this endeavor.
Approach
While we have subject matter experts in certain, in other areas we need specific insights and contributions relative to how prospects view vendors:
•    Keyword hierarchy within each line
•    Search intent
•    Copywriting (including a logical order of headlines/subheads relative to keyword research)
•    SEO (front and back end)
•    Considerably heightened level of visual interest (including photography where called for)
•    An integrated file upload tool
Since our lines and related industries are quite disparate, there is little if any content synergy from one prod-uct/application to the next. So while the brand voice must of course be consistent, we presume each page and/or sec-tion will be crafted to the unique characteristics of those audiences. As above, we can provide general direction, though we intend to rely on your research and messaging to create content persuasive to each industry that will be reviewed by our SME’s.

Clean, clear, crisp, brand-relevant site. Easy to navigate. Simple forms and CTA throughout. Greatly improved content (both writing, design, and photography).

For what projects/services did your company hire Lee Media Group, and what were your goals?

Our Website had zero traffic and we were relying on emails for registrations. We wanted an updated website that offered a single source for information, sign-ups, and payment for our events.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We opened up an RFP and based on all the factors that were important to our organization, Lee Media checked all the boxes.

Lee Media provide great communication and were very easy to get in touch with when I had questions. They helped us initially redesign our logo, select a new color scheme prior to the website design.

Once we had that, we worked with them on everything we wanted on the website and they made it simple to navigate and find with a focus on our mission and key function of training and events. The registration and pay functions were easily integrated. The technologies include Wordpress and a card pay app.

At least 4-marketing, developers, and management.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The timeline was met and deliverables all met the expectations of the Board.

Very open to ideas and communication. Great on timeliness. If anything our own delay was the slowness in the process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They had super great customer service. Yet still highly skilled technical assistance. It really was the best of both worlds.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We've had some issues transitioning training since we are volunteer organization but overall the ease of use has made it pretty easy.

I’m the owner of Ava Said, a retail brand that raises awareness about homelessness.

We hired Lee Media to host my website and handle our Instagram account.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lee Media developed my website on WordPress from scratch. Per my request, they also created a feature where people could submit their stories anonymously. 

At present, we’re still working together.

We work with four people in their team, including Tabytha (Lead Web Developer) and Julie (Creative Writer), who puts together the stories we place on the website. I also work with Mia (Founder & Managing Partner). 

How did you come to work with Lee Media Group?

When I started working on what I wanted to do, I called Lee Media once but canceled my appointment with them. Then, I went to several web developers to build my website. However, I wasn’t happy. As a result, I went back to Lee Media and told them about my vision and the budget I had. When I went through their door, they were smiling, asking me what they could do to help me. That vibe was great, and we were happy about it. That was how we started working together. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

People who go to our website message me to say how awesome the site is. Photographers also comment frequently about it. More importantly, the site has brought more attention to my business and what I do. Overall, Lee Media has created an awesome website.

Working with Lee Media has been amazing. When I tell them what I want, they’re more than willing to bring my vision to reality. Apart from building my website, they also give me great ideas. They tell me how else they can help with the awareness I’m trying to raise. Overall, they’re so awesome.

How did Lee Media Group perform from a project management standpoint?

The moment I ask for something, Lee Media does it right away — that’s why I’ve stuck with them. If they can’t do it within the day, they do it the next day; I love that about them. Overall, they take care of my business, and they have an awesome team. 

To communicate, we mainly use emails, although we also do phone calls. The accommodating vibe they’ve shown me hasn’t changed in the two years of our partnership. It’s truly consistent. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Lee Media is willing to take you to where you want to go and to accomplish your goal; your mission and success are important to them. On top of that, their communication is great, and that makes them different from other providers I’ve tried. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. We’ve been working together for two years, and I haven’t been upset or bothered about anything they’ve done.

When my business first started, we had a simple informative site. As the business became more popular, so did the need for a website with greater capabilities.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The website is WordPress-based and allows users to view and select events and adventures they’d like to experience. The site includes e-commerce capabilities, an online merchandise store, a calendar of events in nearby cities, and an intricate backend that includes a reporting system for our business processes.

What is the team composition?

Our initial interaction was with Mia, the owner, but all of the work associated with our account is handled by Tabytha, the lead web developer, who is a tremendous asset for us.

How did you come to work with Lee Media Group?

Because we are a women-based organization, I was specifically looking to work with women. Mia and her team area relatively local to us, so we got in touch and were confident in their ability.

We’ve spent more than $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in August 2011, and they provide ongoing maintenance and updates as necessary.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our members find the site much more intuitive and user-friendly. Of the many improvements, our online store is more prominent, and our users find it useful that the site keeps a history of events they have attended. Further, there are enhanced tracking systems implemented so that we can keep better track of memberships and other housekeeping tasks.

How did Lee Media Group perform from a project management standpoint?

I feel like they are an extension of my own business. We are well-connected with their project management tools so that there is a record of our communication. Tabytha is wonderful in how she helps me ideate and problem-solve. She’s more than a computer programmer—she understands how my business works and the accounting processes that I want to achieve.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. My experience with them has been phenomenal.

Communicate your vision as well as possible and be engaged in the process.

I am the technology coordinator and web administrator for Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School.

We have twice utilized their services to redesign our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have two websites: one for the church and one for the school. At the time of our first redesign 10 years ago, we managed them both using Joomla, and we felt that professional updates were necessary. Another priority was making content easier to edit and manage ourselves, so we decided on a WordPress platform. We are currently in the process of updating and launching the new sites a second time.

Our sites are quite large and house a lot of content. Lee Media Group takes the time to discuss how we’d like our sites to look and be organized, and they present us with options that suit our needs. Our sites allow members to log in and access contact information for other members, so we have implemented privacy and security measures. Our church site also holds extensive Bible study guides.

Ever since our first redesign, we rely on them to host our site and provide security and backup services, along with training in how to maintain the site.

Erin and Tabytha are our primary contacts as web developers.

We got to know Mia, the owner, during the bidding process, and it was a no-brainer. I could tell she had the heart and desire to help us.

Our first redesign was scheduled in December 2010, and we have an ongoing relationship.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Some of the younger members have remarked about the sites’ fresh and inviting look. I’m excited to see our Google Analytics detail how well we transitioned.

They’re a fairly small company, and I love that. Erin and Tabytha are always accommodating and accessible. They are easy to work with because they are so organized. They have an internal site I can reference to track their progress, but I almost always end up calling or emailing instead.
