Resources created in mAuthor, are responsive, support adaptive learning, comply with WCAG 2.0 requirements, and since they are based on an open player (content is created in XML format and might be output in Scorm packages, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and xAPI (Tin Can) compliant, making it compatible with majority of eLearning standards driven LMS platforms). Klett Publishing House belongs to one of the greatest publishing houses producing learning materials in the world. I work as a interactive content developer, editor and project manager in Klett Publishing House in Czech Republic. One of my responsibilities is to take care about e-learning portal called mCourser through which all the interactive content is distributed to the teachers and students.

Learnetic is helping us creating and distributing interactive content for our teachers and students. Our main goal is to produce interactive content for the language education.
What were your goals for this project?
To create our own interactive content and distribute it to teachers and students. This helped us to be more competitive on the market, raised our prestige in the country and hopefully the sales as well.

1) mAuthor - it is a editor for creating interactive content. With all the support as well. 2) mCourser - a website for distributing interactive content for teachers and student. Very useful tool. With all the support as well. 3) mLibro app - this app is used by teachers and students to use their interactive content on mobile phones/tablets. Also works offline which is great for the users.
What was the team composition?
In Czech Republic only two people work with Learnetic tools. It is me as a editor/developer and project manager and another colleague working as a supporting editor.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Creating an interactive content and distribution of interactive content is the new epoch of education worldwide. Learnetic as the one of the leaders gave us an oportunity to be the part of this. Naturally we used the Learnetic's tools to do our piece . Frankly, I must admit, that thanks to Learnetic we are one of the best interactive content developers in our country. which has a positive impact on company's reputation among the teachers and students as well as on sales.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
All the tools Learnetic offers are highly intuitive and it took me quite a small amount of time to know how everything works which is great if you consider the complexity and difficulty of the whole process of creating interactive content. At the beginning I was educated through webinars made by Learnetic. And everytime I needed a support, Learnetic was more than willing to help me.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
From my point of view the most impressive is that Learnetic didn't give up the process of self improvement. Their developers constantly work to improve the mAuthor tool and develop some more modules and functions. Another impressive thing is that Learnetic provides full support even to the smaller partners (like us in Czech Republic) no matter the request.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I think sometimes Learnetic could be more flexible with regards to the functions of mCourser. Every country has requests and needs which can be different than the general solution offered my Learnetic. Also documentation in mAuthor could be updated and little bit deeper with regards to complicated process (working with Jquery scripts for example).
