Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m a Product Manager at Siftery, which was acquired by G2 Crowd in December 2018. G2 Track (formerly Siftery Track) is a platform to help companies automatically track and optimize their software spend.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Leap Design Studio?

We decided to hire Leap Design Studio for their Product Design expertise. We engaged them to build Siftery Track.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to help businesses visualize and optimize their spend on software. We needed a visual identity, a full design for the product, and a successful public launch.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

The founder used to work full-time at Siftery before leaving to build his agency. Working with him was an absolute no-brainer; he was the best choice for us.

Describe the project in detail.

We started with paper wireframes and Leap Design Studio then created an MVP prototype. Leap Design Studio provided us with a visual identity, a very well thought out design system, marketing material, animations, and assistance on product strategy.

What was the team composition?

We worked with the creative director and the UX and visual designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

To date, we've had over 1,500+ companies sign up for Siftery Track, a successful launch on Product Hunt. The solution has helped customers save money on their software spend.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communicating with them was easy. The team provided daily design updates.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their design process was very impressive. The design system, sketch files, and internal processes have allowed us to grow and scale our design team.
