What challenges were you trying to address with Leadforce.info?

We’re in the process of reaching out to potential investors in the international market, so we hired Leadforce to expand our reach.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Leadforce helps us with lead generation so that we can reach potential investors. Initially, they interviewed us to understand our target channels, and we decided to prioritize LinkedIn to test Leadforce’s services. After the initial testing phase, we decided to work with them for the long term.

Leadforce has been in charge of creating the script for their outreach efforts, which we’ve validated. We’ve also given them access to our LinkedIn account so that they can find potential investors globally and send them messages on our behalf. Whenever Leadforce finds leads, I continue interacting with the ones who show interest and send them a pitch and a series of documents about what we do.

What was the team composition? 

We’ve worked with two people from Leadforce: the founder and CEO and a senior content writer. Still, I believe there is a bigger team involved behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Leadforce.info?

Leadforce found us on LinkedIn and reached out to us, so we decided to have a meeting and hear more about their offer. After a couple of introductory calls, we decided to hire them for lead generation purposes.

How much have you invested in them?

We spend around $1,000–$2,000 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in November 2022, and our partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

So far, Leadforce has been able to reach out to around 100 quality leads, which is very good. Additionally, they’ve been able to access a network of people we wouldn’t have been able to access ourselves.

How did Leadforce.info perform from a project management standpoint?

Leadforce has made things very easy for me by making a great effort to do the work themselves. Moreover, interacting with only two people from their team has made our engagement easier as well.

Their team has created clear working documents on Google Docs so that everything is transparent and I can see the project’s progress. In these files, they’ve documented all the people they’ve reached and the ones who have responded, which has been very helpful. In addition to that, we have occasional meetings via Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Leadforce’s hands-on approach is outstanding. They’ve delivered what they’ve promised and reached out to relevant potential investors on our behalf, demonstrating that they have the experience, understanding, and databases needed. Thanks to these skills, we’ve been pleasantly surprised by the results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if Leadforce set up a follow-up call every two weeks. However, I didn’t ask for it, and it’s probably unnecessary for our project. Still, other companies could benefit from regular check-ins to make things easier.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about your target — it’s key to the project's success. Additionally, work closely with Leadforce, let them come up with suggestions, and follow up on the progress over LinkedIn closely so that you can reach out to the leads they find quickly.

Biodel needed help in marketing their Wefunder offering, primarily in bringing attention to the offering itself, and also needed help in making the company more widely known in the finance community.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Leadforce approached us after our offering was posted on Wefunder. We were approached by several vendors, but chose Leadforce due to their professionalism and cost.

Leadforce built a target list of institutional investors and of crowdfunding investors from their LinkedIn profiles. Leadforce then used Biodel exec LinkedIn profiles to message this target list within the LinkedIn parameters of use.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with Hyrhoriy, co-founder of Leadforce, and Roksolana, co-founder of Leadforce. Hyrhoriy acted as Leadforce's salesperson and made the initial contact with us, while Roksolana is the campaign manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The cost effectiveness of this program has been outstanding, at roughly 10:1 new investment versus expenditures. More importantly, Biodel has gained more than 200 new connections on LinkedIn, many from industry professionals, and has placed our Pitch Deck in front of 64 institutional investors through Leadforce. The acceptance rate for new contacts has been over 20%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was excellent - we were informed of campaign plans and deadlines immediately, results were posted overnight with any team follow-up requirements clearly marked, and key metrics were outlined immediately upon completion of a target list to support decision making.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Leadforce is extremely professional and competent, and has excellent insight into target market structures and values.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really. We are very happy with this campaign, and will continue to use it to support our fundraising efforts!

Based on our experience, we strongly recommend not spending your money on this.
