Upon our request, we then scheduled a Zoom meeting to discuss the results of the CRO audit. The audit included recommendations for actions to take to improve our CRO, and we decided to move forward with LanternSol to complete the priority recommendations. All of this work was completed on Shopify using Shopify apps as needed.

There was a delay due to technological restraints in one of the app addons, but the delay and the reason for it were communicated to us, and the restraints were resolved.

I appreciated their quick response time, and we had some issues with the site not displaying correctly in different sections of our site following the publication of the updates, and LanternSol continued to help us resolve the issues very quickly and efficiently.

The work we hired LanternSol to complete required apps added on to our site, and I would've liked to understand beforehand what apps were required and how much the monthly subscription would be for each app as opposed to finding out as the work was being completed in real time. The apps made a difference and improved the aesthetics of our site, but for accounting purposes, I would have liked to understand the additional cost for the apps from the beginning.

Although I don't know much about code, he was able to explain the site transfer process in basic terms and was very transparent about the scope of the project as a whole. Our brain health technology device requires the use of a app subscription for on-going use. We tapped Recharge to power the subscriptions but we needed design and development on our e-commerce storefront (powered by Shopify Plus) to create a custom product page the clearly outlined the purchase of the device + the app subscription options and added both products to cart without allowing the customer to purchase one without the other.
We needed it to be clear that both were required and easily understood what the customer was getting with their purchase. In addition to this, our devices were delayed in shipping from the manufacturer so we needed to integrate the Klaviyo Back in Stock flow to the custom product page so that customers could be notified when the device arrives without losing the fact that they will have purchase the subscription as well.

Jay and his team were actually recommended to us by Recharge because of his extensive work with the app and Shopify. His pricing is incredibly fair and he came recommended so it was a no-brainer for us.

We provided Jay with a requirements document detailing our needs, the requirements of how the data should be passed to the cart/checkout, and a very rough mockup of design ideas we had for how the PDP could look utilizing Recharge. For the Klaviyo Back in Stock, we provided the Klaviyo documentation and explained how we needed it to work. Jay came back to us with some questions in order to create a proper custom PDP design.
Once the design was approved, he implemented his design to exact specifications and very quickly. Becuase of the complexity of the request, we had a few rounds of feedback during testing to ensure the cart functionality behaved as expected but he was able to resolve any issues we found.

How did you select LanternSol and what were the deciding factors?
I knew Jay, the founder, as a friend for many years and he surprised me with the quality and speed of his work. To take it one step further he best the other web developers bids by a decent amount.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Jay laid out the schedule from the onset in simple form. There were only a few stages to this project, I sent him examples of websites that we liked, he asked for us to fill in the custom blanks such as our company logo, colors, pictures, information, and function of the website. Jay did not take very long at all to put it altogether in beautiful form for us to make edits and give feedback for a couple more iterations until the final product was complete to great satisfaction ahead of schedule.
