ELM first expressed an interest in creating a service management system to handle their daily processes in the office. Throughout the development lifecycle the project has since advanced and the client now has an e-commerce site, epos system, and an administration panel that overlooks the entire operations throughout the business.
Beforehand the client predominantly had paper based processes which had been time consuming and proving more difficult to manage effectively with growth. By investigating and producing a digital tailored solution they aim to improve their processes across the operation and accomadate further growth.
Field Operatives Application for improved and instant report creation for fermacell
fermacell® needed a solution that would improve their processes, they wanted something custom, tailored specifically to them and with a visual improvement of the application for the user, as well as the PDF reports it creates for clients.
The application made processes quicker, improved the handling of reports and gave a better representation of fermacell’s professionalism as they deal with their high calibre clients.
Sales Application for Crane Manufacturers, Penny Hydraulics
Penny Hydraulics expressed an interest in building a product library mobile application, the app needed to assist Penny Hydraulics in showcasing their products at events and when interacting with potential customers. The app also needed to work offline, any leads captured however, could be uploaded to an online admin panel after syncing the devices; with internet connection.
Users want to action requests for info, quotes and callbacks within the app, this will generate leads which will be accessible from the existing admin panel currently used for analytics.

For what projects/services did your company hire Langley Foxall Ltd.?
We worked with Langley Foxall to create the Configurator - an online tool which helps our customers to find the correct lifting solution for their requirements.
What were your goals for this project?
Our product range can be confusing and daunting for new customers. We wanted to remove the barriers to enquiries and present our products in a more meaningful way to potential new customers.
The Configurator simplifies the product specification process by asking the customer a series of simple questions and then proposing a suitable solution. The customer can also click to request a quotation or demonstration, this improves the customer journey and is convenient to use differentiating ourselves from our competitors.
We anticipated receiving more leads via the Configurator, these leads are also qualified giving our sales team an opportunity to convert them into sales.
How did you select this vendor?
Langley Foxall were recommended to us by our Sales Director who lives in the same area. He had seen their growth and that they had won awards and suggested that we make contact to discuss how they may be able to help our business.

We have worked with Langley Foxall on a number of projects. The Configurators were designed to simplify the product specification process on our website. The convenient tool asks users a small number of simple questions and then suggests the correct lifting solution with options to find out more or request contact from our team.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The Configurator has increased leads for the sales team and led to sales that we may not have received otherwise. It also differentiates our organisation from our competitors: Convenience is a big issue in digital marketing and the Configurators help to address this.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We found working with Langley Foxall to be very easy. They agreed a 'Statement of Works' document with us delivered what was promised. There was also an opportunity to test and provide feedback before the Configurator went live - this gave us adequate time to find any bugs before launch.
The Langley Foxall Ltd team's work increased leads for the sales team and helps differentiate the client from its competitors. They were a pleasure to work with and simplified the process.
