I’m the operations manager for All About Plumbing & Septic, a family-run business.

What challenge were you trying to address with Laborem Edge?

We’d done really well in the print advertising realm, but we hadn’t maxed out our online efforts. We’d worked with many different companies to try to grow our business, but we were still lacking and needed a team to help us compete with our competitors in the area.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve run Google Ad campaigns for our business, along with various other marketing and SEO efforts. Their team has also built up our website and improved it from those perspectives. They’ve worked with us to improve our spend on advertising. Their team researches where the money should go and make suggestions for the efforts. 

What is the team composition?

I generally speak with John (Partner & Client Success Manager).

How did you come to work with Laborem Edge?

I believe I found them on Facebook. I gave them a couple of hours of my time to review what they could do. They put together an extensive plan and looked at our market, showing they’d really done their research before onboarding us.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent close to $20,000, at this point. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them since January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before working with them, we really lacked in the digital marketing realm. They’ve helped us grow considerably in all areas. Even the features they don’t charge us for, we’ve seen significant improvements and they are greatly helping us. They continue to get us ranking higher and higher. 

How did Laborem Edge perform from a project management standpoint?

We speak almost every day, so they’re very quick. The longest I’ve ever waited to speak with John is a day through email, which is great. Every month, they go over our budgets with us and get our feedback on any changes. They’re constantly adapting the efforts when needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re young and ambitious — they’re driven to be on top of the ever-evolving industry. They really put in the effort to make sure our money is well spent. I’m very hands-on, so I appreciate how they’re willing to show us what they’re thinking and their process. Other companies just spend money and give a call after a few months, but that’s not the case with Laborem Edge. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I can think of. As far as my experience, they’ve been top-notch in making sure we’re getting the results we’re paying for. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Always ask questions. Don’t be afraid. The only dumb question is one you don’t ask. Although there are other companies that do it for less cost, I’d be cautious because it might not work for you.

We wanted to obtain leads at a reasonable rate. We’d tried a lot of other services and strategies, and none of them achieved the results we were looking for.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Laborem Edge started by building out our website, with the goal of obtaining leads organically and getting to the top of Google. They also help us with our PPC efforts, to maximize the number of incoming leads we get.

We mainly work with George (Founder).

How did you come to work with Laborem Edge: Digital Marketing Agency?

We were referred to their team, so I called them and we had a meeting. George came prepared with a plan given our goals and challenges, and we really trusted him, so we decided to partner with Laborem Edge.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend about $3,000 per month, not including the PPC spend. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing collaboration began in May 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We now consistently generate between 55–65 leads per month, and for the most part, they’re all qualified. The team is great about keeping our services up to date, keeping an eye on what’s working best, so we can add or remove strategies as needed. They send monthly reports over so we always know if what we’re doing is worthwhile. The results are pretty phenomenal. 

How did Laborem Edge: Digital Marketing Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Laborem Edge performs really well. They’re very responsive and communicative.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very easy to get a hold of and have excellent communication skills. If we have any issues or concerns, we can text or email them and they’ll respond right away. I’ve never had any problems with Laborem Edge in terms of communication, and that’s definitely one of the most important things to me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I can think of at this time.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t expect results in the first month. Give them some time to perform and show you what they can do. A lot of people want instantaneous results to justify what they’re spending, but real results take time.
