with a sleek, modern, 3D design that screamed innovation. We revitalized quick start guides and user manuals, VIZIO’s famous package design, accessory marketing, and whole lot more. We also rolled out a national advertising campaign.
Result: Our efforts were rated “R” for radical results. The first wave of new VIZIO HDTVs sold out within weeks, setting Costco’s all-time sales record. New manuals helped slash returns by over 80% and drastically reduced customer service calls. Accessory sales jumped 32%. With the success at Costco, VIZIO was welcomed into Sam’s Club, Best Buy and Wal-Mart, where they averaged sales of 15,000 units per week. Today, VIZIO makes the best-selling HDTVs in North America.
