I’m a co-founder and CEO of Holiday Sitters, an online babysitting platform offering services to the tourists, expats, and business travelers that travel with their children across Europe. We’re currently operating in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Den Haag, and will soon be expanding outside of the Netherlands.

We hired them to rebuild our website and system completely from scratch.
What were your goals for this project?
Our objective was to rebuild the old system with the new, more advanced, reliable, and scalable approach.

How did you select this vendor?
We were looking for someone that could fit our criteria of agile communication and action and high professionalism. A customer of ours who happens to be the CTO of a large telecommunication company introduced Dewploy Sourcing to us. We clearly saw that they fit the criteria we were looking for.
Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?
They configured, developed, and launched the new backend management system and frontend with a completely new look and feel. The project kicked off with a discovery workshop, during which where Dewploy Sourcing presented workflows and wireframes before starting the development work.
What was the team composition?
The project team consisted of 4–5 people depending on the requirements and skills. We always had a project manager that would communicate with us regularly.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Our system is our business, therefore the impact is tremendous. Without a properly-working system, we wouldn’t have a business.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project management was very effective and impressive. We held weekly status meetings and got full updates on the project’s progress. The project manager was attentive, answered all the questions we had, and adapted to our changes with a lot of patience and understanding. We used Skype and Slack as communication tools.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their communication and professionalism are outstanding! We needed things to work and we needed it done fast; Dewploy Sourcing did a great job. In fact, they still continue to do a great job for us as we’re working with them on ongoing tasks, repairs, and new features.
Are there any areas where they can improve?
The team can improve by having better QA as a part of the development process.
