BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We provide complete solutions for infrastructure and optimization of business processes, based on setting up some of the largest business IT systems in Southeastern Europe. One of our interests is also a payment business, so we provide support and solutions for POS, IPGW, Cashless, Digital goods, Card management system, etc. I am a Head of CMS and processing systems.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Konekta?

We hired Konekta to implement a custom made software that handles online transactions done with a specific closed-loop card issued by one of our biggest customer in Slovenia. This solution has enabled the use of this card on various webshops in Slovenia.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to spread the use of closed-loop card outside of its domain and make it available for use on various webshops. The solution had to be easy and practical for various webshops to connect.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

There were two possible vendors but one of them was disqualified due the cost and the estimated time of delivery. Also, we had some positive experiences with Konekta from before.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They developed, configured, and launched a new solution. The project started with a workshop for fully understanding the given specifications of the existing systems. Once the implementation started we were always involved in the progress so that we could suggest the improvements and test the solution.

What was the team composition?

On the Konekta side, there were 3 participants, product owner, frontend developer, and backend developer. On our side, there were 2 participants.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project was an upgrade to our existing solution that we provide to our customer. It was done quickly and professionally and was very important not just for our company but also for our customer how could spread the use of its card brand to various merchants and upgrade its product.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

During this project, we have experienced very impressive project management, since we were always informed about the progress and potential risks on time. The solution was delivered on time with very little or no bugs at all followed with full documentation which is quite refreshing.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We work with a small team of very professional and pleasant people which made this project so successful. We were impressed with how quickly and easy they understood the specifications and requirements so that they needed very little of our support. The feedback was always on time, and we had no unnecessary stress in delivering the project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is very little they can improve. I hope that they will soon expand their team and I am looking forward to future projects with Konekta.
