We had them build us a magento site several years prior and then we decided to move to Shopify so we hired them again to build our shopify site last year. They did everything from the ground up for the site, including some custom work since we have projects on our website not just ecom products so it was more involved.

They migrated everything from the magento site to the new sopify site, set up config products, bundles, projects etc.

we had a tight timeline with milestones for the development with dates.  We had team call twice a week to go over the progress and deliverables.  My team put a lot of work into this up front so that it would be a more seamless process for the development.

They never missed a deadline and were very transparent about any issues they were facing or if we needed to pivot on an idea.

Their team is very responsive even on off hours we can reach out to them if there is an issue and get someone to answer us.  We communicate primarily through skype, WhatsApp or email.

They always figure out a way to make it happen.  Sometimes we have ideas or things we need and even if  they are not a normal request they can find a way to make it happen.  Also they are good at explaining things to non technical people. 

My team is marketing and so we have learned so much about websites and do all of the updates on our own so it is nice to have things explained to us in a way that allows us to easily do them.

Our cooperation consisted of 3 stages. The first stage was consulting at the sales stage. kiss software consultants put a lot of work into understanding my project, asked the right questions and proposed initial solutions and a model for further cooperation.

It took about 2-3 months, and I also talked to 3 other companies at the same time. The second stage is very intense online and onsite sessions according to a prepared schedule. Each session had a defined goal and a properly selected team of consultants.

The biggest hurdle on our project was that we had people on our team in the Pacific and Eastern Time zones, and with the majority of the kiss software team being in us, it really limited the actual time of day we could meet to something that was very limited and still not very convenient for anyone. As kiss software expands I understand that their US based staffing is growing and that would probably have helped some in the future.

Our communication was so warm and intimate that at some point I began to forget that we are working with a large IT company, and not an internal team.
