Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the managing director and owner at TPole, a solution provider for industrial and ruggedized investor embedded PCs. We supply to pipeline, airplane, and railway installation companies and machine manufacturers globally. Our computers are often weatherproof and built to withstand operating temperatures from -40°C–85°C. They can be specialized for Microsoft or real-time operating systems based on the industrial applications. 


What challenge were you trying to address with KAUKY.COM?

We wanted to find the most effective method to collect inquiries, feedback, and requests for quotations (RFQs) online from professionals, engineers, and companies who are involved with our business. Using our website, we aimed to improve our visibility and secure more project contracts.


What was the scope of their involvement?

KAUKY.COM developed our new website on WordPress. It’s a complicated platform that contains a large database. They manage our social media accounts and are fully responsible for the newsletter we regularly email to our entire customer base.
They defined the AdWords copy and are actively optimizing our site with important SEO keywords. We mutually agreed on a budget for all of these activities. KAUKY.COM provided the tools we need to introduce new product features inside the database in-house.

What is the team composition? 

KAUKY.COM assigned us a dedicated software developer and a marketing resource to support activities like Google AdWords. 

How did you come to work with KAUKY.COM?

We’d known KAUKY.COM previously.

How much have you invested with them?

The website cost €7,000–€9,000 (approximately $8,100–$10,500). We spend €5,000 (approximately $5,800) annually on our newsletter, social media, and web maintenance. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began our project together in June 2013. KAUKY.COM presented their finished work in September 2013. 


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since our in-house marketing specialist proved unsuccessful, I’ve never invested without measuring ROI. Once we started working with KAUKY.COM, we began tracking all the inquiries we receive through our website and how many generate orders each year. 

Based on our aggregated data and KAUKY.COM’s monthly reports, the results of their digital marketing services have paid us back significantly. Rather than disappearing, they take care of our customers even after they make a purchase.

How did KAUKY.COM perform from a project management standpoint?

KAUKY.COM is highly responsive. We held 2-3 meetings to discuss status, ongoing tasks, and areas for improvement. They strictly follow the timelines we set out and are precise about meeting deadlines. 

When their other commitments conflicted with the original deadline, they were honest about the delay and delivered 1-2 months later. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

KAUKY.COM accepted all my challenges with a positive attitude. They offered rapid solutions and unique ideas that suppliers didn’t always accept. One of their highest values is a dedication to reaching customers’ goals. Anytime we’ve called them about a problem we notice on our website, they’ve reacted within a few hours.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

KAUKY.COM could increase the number of inquiries our website generates. I’m never satisfied with this area. Offering stronger suggestions could improve its appearance and function. They should always push me to do better. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Challenge KAUKY.COM to do their best. They never force the customer to complete tasks. Try not to be conservative when starting a project. To respect your budget, they’ll provide exactly what you’re asking for rather than encouraging you to expand the scope.

Overall Score I’d never rate a company’s performance five because there’s always room to improve.
