I’m the co-owner of a food and beverage company that mainly produces teas.

What challenge were you trying to address with Kaspien?

We needed a full-service agency that could help manage our Amazon business completely so that we can focus on Shopify and other aspects of the business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Kaspien to manage our Amazon account and provide us with SEO and PPC to improve our digital presence. Their services would’ve included graphic design for our Amazon ads, product releases, and resolving all our technical issues concerning Amazon. 

They ended up not providing us with these services and instead got a person who had no graphic design knowledge. They also didn’t set up any promotions for our products and optimize our content — in fact, they removed a lot of important keywords which resulted in us losing our ranking.

We mainly worked with an account manager, PPC specialist, project manager, social media manager, copywriter, and salesperson.

We found Kaspien online while researching for Amazon agencies in the US.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about $5,000–$6,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2021–January 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They tried to create and run ads for us, but their attempt wasn’t very successful. They made many mistakes and didn’t improve our business — we lost a lot in profits.

How did Kaspien perform from a project management standpoint?

Kaspien tried to resolve all our issues, but they couldn’t find solutions to some of them. I had to hire a third-party vendor to help us with our problems.

I believe they had too many clients and couldn’t put time and focus on our account.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciated their communication efforts, and we liked their leadership team because they were always nice to me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I believe they had too many clients and couldn’t put time and focus on our account, so maybe they can fix their approach to management.

If you’re thinking of working with Kaspien, I would advise you to limit the scope of the project before diving into a fully digital service.
