HYTE is the sister brand of iBUYPOWER and was established on Sept 2021. At HYTE, we push the envelope when it comes to your PC experience. Our goal is to make our products effortlessly interactive, in ways that will change the way you look at building, gaming, and everything else you do with your tech.

When we were developing our new headless website, we consulted heavily with Kanbar Digital to ensure that we were implementing best practice from an SEO perspective.

They provided us with spreadsheets of recommendations for implementing proper meta data, page title, website copy, sitemaps, canonicals, structured data, internal and external linking, etc… They would also perform site audits regularly to ensure everything was implemented properly and performance was at its peak.

We meet on a weekly basis but they make themselves available anytime throughout the week. They never missed a deadline and we communicate either by email or through our slack channel.

I am the Digital Marketing Manager at iBUYPOWER and HYTE. We manufacture Pre-Built PCs for the gaming target audience. I'm in charge of all traffic channels.

For what projects/services did your company hire Kanbar Digital, LLC, and what were your goals?

We hired Kanbar Digital for SEO services, to assist us in optimizing our website, content, and helping us develop our strategies. Our goal was to rank #1 against our direct competitors, which we accomplished, and to rank top 3 against retail brands like Best Buy and Newegg.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Kanbar Digital was around before I got here, but Khalil had already worked with a previous colleague here that referred his agency for their services. I've worked in the industry for over 12 years and I always learn something new from Khalil and his team.

Kanbar provides us with weekly updates in the industry based on those, updates and changes they suggest for to make. If major changes are done in the industry, we create a strategy around the changes. Other projects include new product launches, expansion of the website, and expansion of content and how Kanbar suggests we do this. They prepare templates to help us structure landing pages the correct way top optimize for SERP rankings.

1-3 depending on their positions. Copywriting, analysis, data integration, etc. Kanbar Digital has provided other one off services when needed, but SEO is what we mainly work with them on. Excited to see what else they continue to offer as they continue to expand.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The majority of our projects have overachieve or bare minimum, reached their goals. The ones they don't are because we didn't execute them on our end for lack of manpower. We dominate with SEO compared to our competitors, without our strength in this area, we'd be suffering in sales.

Khalil and the team are very resourceful. The main tools we use are GA and SEMRush, but they have access to many other tools that provide more insightful information. We also refer to them when we're vetting other digital marketing tools as they are very informed about others in the industry.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Although a very young agency, their results are amazing. Khalil's background and knowledge is beyond any regular SEO expert. His understanding in web development takes his SEO knowledge to another level. On top of that adding his expertise with branding and advertisement, they're a full-package agency. Any client should be thrilled to have Kanbar Digital leading their projects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing other than continue to expand with other marketing services. I wish they had other services we were looking for earlier instead of going with someone else, but that'll change once our other contracts expire.

I am the ECommerce Director for Ultra PRO International. We are a hobby and collectible manufacturer supplying card collectors with products to organize and protect their card collections. We also have products that cater to scrapbooking, board games, coin collecting, and toys. We work with licensees such as Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Pokemon, etc.

We saw a slight decrease in traffic for about 2-3 weeks and then quickly regained SEO position. The new domain proved to be a good move.

Kanbal used 'Monday' as a task manager. They scheduled calls, had follow-up emails, and completed the task on time and within budget.
