I’m a DJ, and my brand is called JNOLD MUSIC. I have a DJ set in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What challenge were you trying to address with JZ Creates?

I had a flyer, and I needed someone to make an interactive version of it.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

JZ Creates designed a custom interactive flyer for my upcoming DJ set. The venue gave us a slot on their social media to post a static photo or a short video. I initially had a flyer that I was going to post, but JZ Creates offered to turn it into an interactive flyer. After they produced the first edit, I gave them feedback regarding the song and the font. The team also included videos and added some cool, relevant clips of things like palm trees swaying. The final product ended up being a 30-second video montage. Once they sent me the deliverable, I posted it.

I only worked with Jay (Owner). 

How did you come to work with JZ Creates?

I found Jay through a mutual friend, and I decided to work with him because he was responsive.

How much have you invested with them?

The project cost $500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in June 2021. The project took about 2–3 days.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

All the feedback I received was excellent. Immediately after I posted the video, 12 people messaged me about how cool it looks and how interactive it was. It was a lot more eye-catching than static flyers. It was done exceptionally well, and I only needed one revision. They nailed it even though I didn’t give them any direction.

How did JZ Creates perform from a project management standpoint?

JZ Creates was excellent when it came to managing expectations. They promised that it would only take 3–4 days — within 24 hours, they already had an edit available for me, which I thought was really fast. Overall, they finished the project way before the deadline. We communicated through text. They were responsive and very open to feedback.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was thrilled with the project. JZ Creates produced a flyer that I was incredibly pleased with while also being responsive to my messages. Previously, I worked with vendors who were good at their job but bad at communication, or they were responsive but ultimately did a lousy job. JZ Creates stood out in that way.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing they could’ve done better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be specific about your vision and get some samples from other sources to help the JZ Creates team visualize what you want. I highly recommend them.

I’m the CEO of Jives Media, a marketing and advertising agency based in San Francisco.

What challenge were you trying to address with JZ Creates?

I’ve hired JZ Creates for multiple projects. For many of those projects, I needed a facelift in our creative assets, both internally and externally for clients. This included creative videos that would better grab clients’ attention.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jamie (Founder) edited a series of outstanding, one-of-a-kind 3D videos that engage users and ultimately increase sales. The last project we did was a 4/20 video for a cannabis client. 

In a typical project, I went over the project goals, needs, scope, and deliverables with Jamie. Then, he put together a few different concepts, and he walked me through those. We moved forward with 1–2 designs. We had a few rounds of edits before handing over the final video to my team.

Typically, I only worked with Jamie.

How did you come to work with JZ Creates?

I hired JZ Creates because I was drawn in by one of their 3D advertisements on Instagram. I reached out to them through Instagram after seeing their ads.

How much have you invested with them?

In total, we spent $2,000–$3,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2020. The last project was delivered in April 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have received extremely positive feedback from clients and viewers on JZ Creates’ work. We saw a 60% increase in clicks and a 75% increase in converted revenue through the video ads.

How did JZ Creates perform from a project management standpoint?

Jamie did a great job at communicating and providing status updates. He made himself available through all channels: phone, text, video share, and email. I found it really helpful to do video screen shares with him — he walked me through different edits. He did a really nice job at articulating thoughts and keeping his clients updated. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

There’s so much to love about working with JZ Creates. Jamie’s skills and talents are unmatched; there are very few people who do what he does with 3D videos. The second thing is his attitude — he's just a pleasure to work with. He has a positive attitude, and overall, he’s just a really nice guy.

No, not at this time.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Had JZ's team put together a brainstorm of content ideas that they over delivered upon.  We then chose to more forward with 3 of the concepts which were all delivered on time and JZ's team was very responsive and quick with revisions.
