Brand Identity + App Design / Tax Tracking App
In a cluttered landscape, TaxDay asked us to help them stand out and attract a niche client for their specialized tax tracking app. Working with CEO Jonathan Mariner, we identified target audiences and developed unique positioning and messaging. We developed the TaxDay name, tagline, logo and brand guide. And we wrote and designed the Tax Day app interface and website, incorporating a sleek marketing video to explain the app to potential users.

Marketing Strategy + Execution / Events Management
This worldwide event marketing and meeting management firm brought us in to concept and execute targeted marketing campaigns as part of an overall strategy. We worked with AMI’s executive team to understand the needs and pain points of their potential customers, bringing to life an innovative and memorable multifaceted campaign.

Brand Identity + Content Strategy / Healthcare Services
Jute partnered with OHSU's Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) to develop brand messaging and updated visual identity, web and social strategies, and two new websites. We’re grateful to be doing good work with good people who are helping individuals lead longer, healthier lives.

Infographic Design / Financial Services
As a trusted planning partner for thousands of financial advisory firms, Schwab Advisor Services is always looking well beyond today. That’s why they engaged us to help them research, write, and design an infographic and supporting social posts on racial diversity. Because they know diversity is crucial for keeping firms relevant and sustainable—and great information design is crucial for getting that message across.

Brand Identity + Web Presence / Healthcare
Cambia Health Solutions returned to Jute Creative for help with a new venture: MedSavvy, an innovative report-card style medication resource. We built a brand identity, messaging and positioning to connect with their users. And we wrote and designed the MedSavvy website, partnering with their marketing team to create the user experience for the site's grading system.

Paid + Social Marketing / Financial Advisory Firm
As part of their efforts to improve their digital marketing strategies, Hoover Financial Advisors engaged with to Jute to develop ongoing paid and social marketing campaigns: Google Ads (formerly Adwords) and paid social advertising to drive traffic to their site. A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and president of Taxday LLC.
What challenge were you trying to address with Jute Creative?
At the time, we had just launched the company and needed to create our branding, look and feel, and a marketing strategy.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Their team helped us with our entire brand development. Everything from the logo to the color scheme to the look and feel was handled by them. They created a custom typeface along with a tagline. Additionally, they created a one-minute video that we could use to quickly introduce what we’re selling.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Kari (Co-Founder, Jute Creative) and one other woman primarily. They brought in a graphics team from a separate company. We also worked with Mario and Barrett on the video end.
How did you come to work with Jute Creative?
I knew Kari from previous work and mutual connections. When I saw that we would need help getting to market, I reached out. She jumped on the project to help me.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project occurred for six weeks in 2016.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s been tremendous. I get great feedback on the color scheme, video, and graphics on our site. The video, in particular, really helped the business get off the ground.
How did Jute Creative perform from a project management standpoint?
Kari is terrific at project management. She can keep things on task, getting everything done on time. Policing the team vigorously, she followed up and updated us regularly. We worked over email, and she helped us stay on track with benchmarks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their attitude is excellent. They were great, communicative partners from start to finish. I have nothing negative to say about them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I didn’t have any issues with them at all.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make your needs known and remain responsive throughout the engagement. They’re experienced and talented, so trust them to get it done for you.
The team has been met with only positive feedback since launching its new branding materials, especially the messaging video. The organization and attentiveness of the project manager. Their positive attitude and enthusiasm were important to the overall success of the engagement.
