I’m the CEO of Ancourage, a startup in India. I do business consultations for small firms who want to do business in India.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Just Creative?

I wanted to get my name out there, so I needed help with branding. We needed to be bold and stand out as a leader. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Just Creative has helped brand my personal profile that appears for my organization. My profile is inspired by their work now. Jacob (CEO & Founder) has consulted with me about the company setup, as well. He’s given me branding tips and has passed on e-books he’s written. He’s told me multiple apps I can use to make my page and services better.

I get tips from him through the books and also through podcast episodes he releases, so my team manages the creative tips we get from there. Since he’s in Australia and I’m in India, there is a difference in the content I want to present to my clients, so he helps with that, too. We also put presentations up on social media for my clients, along with 3–4 posts a day on Instagram. 

He’s designed mockups and sent me the PPD (project planning and design) since I don’t know how to do all of it myself. There are websites that I can use in the design that he’s helped me build — we use the Reface app to swap faces in videos, too. 

Recently, I inquired about 3D content on my page and for client presentations, and he’s suggested a few creative people I can contact. 

What is the team composition?

I work with Jacob. 

How did you come to work with Just Creative?

I heard his podcast and really got inspired — I tried not to miss an episode. He also has a page on Instagram that I followed where I got to know him and his services. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2020 and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The support Jacob gives us helps us understand how to stand out — we need to be unique, have great content, and offer a great product. His help shows us how to do business correctly, showing us how to have a particular customer line and make our branding more on topic with our company. 

Just Creative has the creative knowledge and business management we need, which is a great combination. We didn’t need a Hollywood film, we just needed creativity, and they’ve given us that. 

How did Just Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

He’s very particular with project management. If someone comments on a post, they get a quick reply within 3–4 hours and will get a solution from him. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Jacob is very humble — he teaches me like a student. After his app, everyone knew him because of how many people are using it. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Though he’s polite, if you listen to his podcast you’ll know he has a very direct, optimized mindset. He can train you in creativity. If you’re not punctual in doing what he recommends, he won’t be able to find a balance with you.

He can teach you the job and how to run the app, but if you don’t want to learn, he could come across as a bit arrogant to you. He’s a sharp person, and you have to be sharp to learn and work with him.
