I'm the executive director of DAAC. The Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (DAAC) runs the AdChoices self-regulatory program for interest-based advertising, helping ensure responsible privacy practices in digital marketing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Junto?

Our organization hired Junto to assist us with a website tool redesign.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of work done?

The main deliverable was a new experience for our WebChoices tool. Junto created detailed wireframes, redesigned the entire experience, ensured accessibility requirements were met, and provided us with an end-of-project report of the decisions made for external stakeholders to read.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 3–4 teammates from Junto.

How did you come to work with Junto?

We used to work with a few people that work at Junto, so there was some built-in trust there. Junto was Canadian, and we knew they had a highly experienced team.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2024–April 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Throughout the entire process, Junto was patient, professional, and superb at taking all this feedback and coming up with wireframes and a design that far exceeded our expectations. The launch was successful. Everyone involved in the project was impressed with the output, all thanks to the Junto team. Given the multiple stakeholders involved in this project, Junto did a fabulous job of taking all our feedback and generating a tool design that looks incredible and is easy for the general public to use. Their patience was key! The feedback has been all positive.

The team delivered on time and responded well to our needs. We communicated via virtual meetings and emails.
