Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Co-founder and CEO of a digital invoice financing company located in Romania, Instant Factoring. We support small companies and microenterprises to get the working capital they need through a fast and automated online system. My role within the company is to ensure the growth of the company.


For what projects/services did your company hire June Communications?

We were looking for a partner to support us in our efforts to build a national brand identity of the company. We started as a fintech start-up without an internal marketing & communications department. We turned to June Communications to outsource both the strategic approach of marketing, communication and PR as well as the implementation of the marketing plans and budget execution.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to build the brand image on the local market, attract new clients and investors. Our goal was to become the first digital provider of alternative financing solutions to small companies and microenterprises in Romania.


How did you select this vendor?

We looked for an agency with experience in financial services being able to understand our market segments and the innovation that our product brought to the market. We had previous working experience on other projects and we were satisfied with the results.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We started with a discovery process to provide June with all the information related to our business like goals, the innovation we brought, differences from traditional financing institutions and banks, business model, target market and so on. The team focused on understanding the added value they could bring to our company and how they could support us in achieving our ambitious objectives. They came up with a marketing and communication strategy and an execution plan aligned with our expenditure budget. From there they started to collaborate with our digital agency, and to develop the creative concepts for our online campaigns, to create the content marketing and sales materials for different audiences and potential investors, and to communicate with the specialised media and broad media.

What was the team composition?

The team started with a Marcom strategist, a PR, an account manager and a copywriter, and in time they added a graphic designer and a social media specialist.


Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the collaboration started we recorded an impressive presence in media, with 22 press releases issued and over 470 press articles which helped us build our brand identity and supported us in business partnerships and attract new clients. We ran a radio campaign which impacted our digital campaigns with an increase of 36% in conversions of new clients acquisition. We managed to have constant communication with our existing clients, June supported us in conducting a client satisfaction survey which received a 9.3 NPS.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had an effective senior project manager assigned. We had weekly face to face meetings, daily phone calls and had their support in online or psychical meetings with our business partners when marketing and communication part was involved. They collaborated closely with our digital agency, meeting them monthly or whenever was needed and ensured that all the actions in the online and offline plan are aligned to get the expected results.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The senior project manager has over 15 years of international experience in the marketing field in the financial services industry. We benefited from this knowledge and the fact that the team was very agile in adapting to our changing needs as a startup, coming up with innovative ideas to support us reaching our objectives and having a good collaboration with the other providers and a close working relationship with our internal team. We felt that they are a part of our company.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Faster is always better if not affecting the quality. Expanding their range of services offered with digital marketing capabilities.
