I’m in charge of sales and business development in the Americas for H&T Presspart.

What challenge were you trying to address with Julasoft?

We were looking to develop a better solution to measure the amount of medicine in mechanical devices, mainly for asthma and COPD.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Julasoft developed our mobile app. Patients can use the app to accurately capture how much product is left in their devices. They can also get notified when they need to take medication. Pharmaceutical companies can keep track of the medicine and patients, and doctors can keep track of patient compliance with treatments.

What is the team composition?

I’ve interacted with 5–6 people, including the two people in charge of the company and the techs.

How did you come to work with Julasoft?

We had talked to several vendors, and Julasoft was referred by one of our customers. They had the best pricing and lacked the compliance issues we encountered with some of the other companies.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around June 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They provide excellent technological solutions. We’re very happy with the service and development they’ve provided, as is our client. Currently, we’re negotiating on another project.

How did Julasoft perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Microsoft project development tools. They’re accommodating, ensuring we’re on the same page. They complied with our very strict timeline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They listen well and are easy to communicate with. Their team is willing to tackle everything we challenge them with as well. They’ve outperformed their competition regarding technology and price.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are some challenges because of the language barrier.

We had different development projects with them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I believe they used open-source platforms for various development projects. One was our mobile pre-sales platform and our smart indicators system DataView.

What is the team composition?

About 8 people have worked with us. 

How did you come to work with Julasoft?

We met up via a client we had in common. I was able to see their work and the way they communicate and understand the needs of their clients. When we had these projects, I decided to contact them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started collaborating about 3–4 years ago and continue working with them. Our most recent project began in July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The impact of their work was great. These developments allowed us to grow our business thanks to the improvement of our digital channels. 

How did  Julasoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They are very good at communicating with clients like myself that have very clear needs but not the technical knowledge to translate them into the right processes. They're great at translating the needs of their clients into concrete technical solutions.

As for deadlines, they have very clear processes and scheduling using agile methodologies. After an initial meeting, they made a very clear road map and started with timely deliveries right away. Whenever we had any delays, they came from our side. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication and timely deliveries are most impressive.

We are very happy with their work so I couldn’t say anything.
