ATI is an architectural and engineering consultancy firm, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Dubai, ATI has become a global firm with its offices located in Istanbul, Tokyo, Bucharest, Kiev, Batumi, Sharjah and Dubai. AESG – Sustainable Engineers Rebrand
Our Challenge
AESG is a specialist consultancy, engineering and advisory firm headquartered in London and Dubai, working on projects throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Our areas of expertise are represented in six core departments: Energy and Sustainable Development, Environment and Waste, Fire Life Safety, Facades, Building Performance and Acoustic consulting.

For a more modern and efficient utilization of brandmark, Jpd offered a subtle uplift to a logo, coupled with a new brand supergraphic ensuring easily readable and usable application across multiple channels. Dragon Oil – An Upstream Energy Business Rebrand
Our Challenge
Dragon Oil, Dubai’s only upstream Oil and Gas exploration, development and production company was seeking a strategic rebranding exercise, to build awareness. Jpd was approached to uplift the brand while keeping the brand’s established visual identity intact. Due to the lack of brand guidelines, there were misconceptions linked with brand recall, which had to be addressed to optimize future opportunities and the company’s growth.
Our Solution
After undertaking a strategic exercise and working closely with the client, Jpd outlined the step-by-step process for rebranding. Post analysing all company materials to date, the team highlighted that the new brand of Dragon Oil missed a comprehensive brand positioning. The team then proposed a unified direction for the brand, “Accelerating Growth”, reflecting the company’s integrated service offering and its drive for quality while always going towards continuous innovation.
The Results
Jpd team performed a Brand Logo Refinement exercise, coupled with the hand-crafted modern font in English, Arabic and Russian, translating the innovation, while remaining easily readable and usable. The visual styling of the graphic element reflected the energy and the endless growth of the company, and growth of the Emirate, Dubai.

Feli's Kitchen – Award Winning Packaging Design
The Client
Feli’s Kitchen was aiming to appeal to young professionals, mothers and kids and remain competitive among various markets, both regionally and internationally. Jpd team was given the mandate to create a convenient packaging solution, that would appeal to the audience. Jpd's creative and production team had to look for various materials and packaging production techniques, to offer cost-effective, user-friendly yet quality-packaging options that were planned to be produced overseas.
Our Solution
Jpd team performed an in-depth analysis of consumer purchase behaviour traits to understand the key needs and complaints among the target audience. The research consisted of mystery shopping, survey analysis, desktop research, along with client interviews, which provided extensive knowledge within the FMCG sector. Combining all the industry challenges identified, Jpd’s strategy team proposed brand positioning as “Your Home Chef”, which centred around cherishing family moments, while not compromising on flavour and quality of family meals and snacks.
The Results
Relying on the brand promise, Jpd team saw an opportunity to create a brand character, Feli, your home chef and a best friend in the kitchen. Having a brand mascot opened various opportunities to engage with mothers, as well as kids. Tuning the visual language down, the design team ensured to keep Feli as the key brand recall character, which guaranteed brand consistency even among the most diverse product range.

Vakkaru Maldives – Luxury Hotel Brand Development
Our Challenge
Vakkaru Luxury Resort Maldives is a lush tropical habitat where privacy and personalised service abound, allowing you to experience an authentic island getaway amidst one of the most desirable destinations on earth. The client was seeking a strategic solution to create a luxury brand that would appeal to a selected international target audience, as well as spark interest among the travel agent industry.
Our Solution
The resort required a full brand development from competitor research to brand positioning and touch-points to roll out materials. After an in-depth analysis of the hospitality sector, latest market trends and company USPs, Jpd team proposed a positioning story “The Timeless Sanctuary”, touching on the elements of barefoot luxury, endless views and cultural Maldivian touch, offered by the hotel.
The Results
Applying the brand universe across all the brand touchpoints, the team consistently rolled out all the marketing materials for the main property, along with the branding of its outlets. Our Challenge
Trans Asia Pipeline & Specialty Services, a company headquartered in the United Arab Emirates in 2001 and with offices in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, Trans Asia is a leading solutions provider to Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals and Power Industries. The company has more than 400 experienced and specialist employees working in 12 different countries providing a variety of Pipeline, Process and Industrial Services.
Trans Asia was looking to refresh the brand while maintaining its key recall and recognition. With expansion plans and a highly saturated market, creating a strong brand with an own-able identity and colours that translate across various mediums presents itself strongly in the digital realm.
Our Solution
Jpd proposed to run an in-depth visual audit, strategy and brand positioning, along with brand identity refresh, look and feel and brand guidelines to support string roll out. Jpd team also looked at the design and development of a new digital presence for Trans Asia.
Running in-depth research, along with the employee internal workshops, Jpd proposed brand positioning “Beyond Delivery”, reflecting the company’s culture of delivering great results under high pressure and extreme external conditions.

Emirates Gas – Digital Transformation
Our Challenge
Established in 1974, through the vision of the late Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Emirates Gas LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company(ENOC) and a market leader in the gas industry in the UAE today.
The client approached Jpd team to help with the update of their digital presence, ensure the latest practices and create a smooth user experience for both Business Customers and End Consumer. Jpd team was tasked to work within a tight deadline to meet internal milestones and planned website launch date.
Our Solution
Jpd team run several workshops to analyse the client’s current assets, key challenges and objectives to best optimise user experience online. Following the developed schematic and client future objectives, Jpd structured website for clear navigation between two types of visitors: Business and Consumer. Following customer profile and needs accordingly, Jpd proposed a simple yet comprehensive structure for smooth and easy user experience. Jpd proposed and complimented sections for a complete user experience, and developed content across all pages.
With approved site structure and UX, Jpd proposed several on-brand Design Concepts, where the visual language was facilitating and complimenting the visitor’s journey online.
The Results
The new website was successfully launched, meeting all internal deadlines. New visual interface and user experience were positively welcomed by the internal and external audience, facilitating in increased website traffic, engagement and enquiries.

Ostro – Crafting an urban gourmet retreat
Our Challenge
Ostro is a Mediterranean restaurant, a brand of dusitD2 kenz hotel, and located in the urban suburb, Barsha Heights. The client was looking for full support and rollout for the upcoming launch of dusitD2 hotel, along with brand development for its mid-range all-day dining restaurant. Standing out from the competition and capturing interest from the target market were the essential steps to success. This is why brand identity had to create and communicate the captivating feel, luring people to visit the place.
Our Solution
Jpd’s strategy team started with a set of management and chef interviews, along with food tasting, to sync and connect with the ambience of the place. With in-depth market research, the team looked at competitive and peer brands, analysing their product offering. Based on brand positioning, the name selection was kicked off. After screening numerous options inspired by different languages and Mediterranean terms, the name “Ostro” was approved. Ostro is a name of the warm southerly winds that crossover the Mediterranean Sea.
The Results
Jpd’s team developed a handcrafted brandmark, inspired by the notion of the footprint in the sand. The look and feel system of the brand was clean and uncluttered. As a part of the brand Universe, the team developed a comprehensive photography style with a consistent set of overhead shots that would give a view of an eclectic table of rich food, colourful tableware and soulful conversations.

UCRYO | Wellness Community of Tomorrow
The Client
UCRYO is the largest of its kind wellness centre in Dubai, UAE, offering the latest technologies in health, wellness, fitness and beauty. UCRYO team approached Jpd, looking to build a brand to help enter the competitive market and ensure international reach out. Jpd team offered full support with research, brand identity creation, brand guidelines, as well as brand experience and brand communication consultation for the brand, helping to build the brand, launch in Dubai and ensure successful further brand roll.
Solution
In a saturated market, UCRYO brand was set to compete with peer and substitute brands, where raising awareness among the audience around various benefits of non-invasive and natural treatments was one of the key objectives. Baring in mind future brand expansion goals, ensuring the brand can easily communicate and engage with both regional and international audiences, was one of the objectives in brand creation.
Results
After an in-depth analysis of the market and consumer insights, Jpd team established the brand platform “Wellness Community of Tomorrow”, capturing the tribal well-being lifestyle, along with the latest technology and solutions being offered to the modern consumer. Creating a full brand identity universe, reflecting the brand story, with consolidated brand guideline document, Jpd team helped with the brand launch and roll-out, consulting on brand experiences and communication, with digital and PR campaign support. Grayton Hotel - Defining an urban hotel experience
Overview
Grayton Hotel Dubai, a part of Blazon Hotels, is located in the Urban heart of the emirate, got in touch with Jpd for a full brand identity and a unique concept around the boutique experience. Set to launch in Q2, 2019, Grayton Team was looking to create strong brand to enter competitive market, as well as marketing communication support, to engage with local community. Additionally, brand creation of the hotel’s outlets and restaurants, required an individual approach, positioning hotel around user’s unique experiences.
Challenge & Solution
With high saturation of Dubai hospitality market, ensuring strong new entry with a distinctive and authentic brand is a stepping-stone for future success. Identifying key differentiation point, opportunities and communication objectives kicked off branding exercise. Brand positioning, reflecting a well-travelled family, was at the heart of Grayton’s vision, helped to roll out the entire brand universe for the brand. Creation of handcrafted symbol and typography across English and Arabic languages echoed the unique boutique premium experience of the hotel. Jpd supported with full brand identity roll out for the hotel’s outlets: CitrusO2, Bukhara, Zanzibar Lounge and G&T Bar Launch, which complimented unique brand experiences.
The Results
With a full brand identity and brand guideline roll out, Grayton Hotel Dubai launched in May 2019, welcoming its visitors for the celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. Jpd team helped with rollout of the brand creative, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, as well as community engagement across key local influences, creating attraction and conversation around the new hotel. The Client
Established in 1976, Euro Mechanical is one of the leading providers of maintenance, construction, and control & automation solutions to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Aerospace Industries. Company with four decades of leadership experience and more than 1000 employees felt it lacked brand awareness and understanding of their true identity and purpose.
Our Solution
Jpd team executed full rebranding exercise, which kicked off with the careful and in-depth brand analysis, bringing forward rooted values of the company and establishing the foundation team can build upon. Based on the approved Brand Positioning, Jpd team created a full visual brand universe around it with a modern and simple logotype, resulting in the true rebirth of the brand. New Look & Feel kept the familiarity of the brand, while communicating the drive for continuously transformation and evolution.

Berkan Steakhouse – Unleashing the Berkan Brand
Our Challenge
Al Mayar Investments, holding brand with multiple Food and Beverage concepts under its roof that include fine dining restaurants, casual cafes, and cloud kitchens, got in touch with Jpd team for help with rebranding franchised fine dining steakhouse, formerly known as Gurhan Sef, located in City Walk – Dubai.
Approaching a full rebrand, with upcoming changes in the signage the brand name, the client wanted to ensure new brand keeps connection with a current loyal database of the customer while attracting a new audience and looking for further expansions.
Our Solution
Jpd took a step-by-step approach, starting with in-depth brand research, client workshops and customer surveys to identify current brand assets, key associations and areas to improve. Based on key findings, Jpd developed brand positioning, customer journey, new brand name (Berkan Steakhouse), visual identity, brand personality, tone of voice as well as brand environments design. Development of brand character, Berkan the Bull, helped with further engagement opportunities.
The Results
Berkan Steakhouse was successfully launched in December 2019, and welcomed by the media and audience. The new brand has helped not only to retain but also improve online ratings of5 star on TripAdvisor, with positive reviews online and across visiting customers.
The new brand has helped the company to expand further within the industry, from delivery options, such as partnering with Deliveroo, to catering services, opening doors to new revenue streams. This New Visual Identity is a great example where rebranding did well can not only retain sales but also expand the brand further and capture new territories and business opportunities, such as client internally launching the Flying Bull, a full-service catering provided by Berkan Steakhouse with customised packages, ready to serve the UAE in their backyards and events.

I’m the business development & marketing manager at Al Mayar Investments. We own and run multiple F&B concepts that include fine dining restaurants, casual cafes, and cloud kitchens.
What challenge were you trying to address with Jpd | Brand Strategy & Design Consultants?
We were rebranding a franchised fine dining steakhouse. We were exiting the franchise, which is why we needed to rebrand entirely. Because we were changing the signage and name, we still wanted to ensure that we weren’t losing their loyal database of customers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
At the start, we explained the concerns to them. We told them that a rebrand was the next step since we were outgrowing the previous brand. Their team completed the entire rebrand. They worked on the restaurant’s story, naming, visual identity, brand personality, tone, and voice. The website is being done separately.

I’m the founder of The Rebel Networker.
What challenge were you trying to address with Jpd | Brand Strategy & Design Consultants?
I picked up the nickname, “the rebel networker,” and was trying to build a brand for myself as a memorable speaker. I needed support setting myself apart in a certain niche with a tag that stood out. I wanted to set myself on a global scale, moving into a place where I had an app and books, etc.

Jpd | Brand Strategy & Design Consultants developed my brand identity. The team designed the logo, crafting the actual brand feel and tone of voice. My husband and I are co-founders and co-owners of a number of companies.
What challenge were you trying to address with Jpd | Brand Strategy & Design Consultancy?
The first company that we engaged with them on is Feli’s Kitchen, which is a brand for frozen pastries. At the time we were introducing a new product into the market to help busy people with the ability to access ready food and easy, convenient meals.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Jpd | Brand Strategy & Design Consultancy initially helped us with the creation of the Feli’s Kitchen brand. Then they translated that brand into the packaging for all the products. They continue to assist with digital marketing, particularly around content for social media. We're not able to sell directly to the end consumer, but they help us create awareness and educate the consumer so they can go to the supermarket and find our products.
We later engaged Jpd | Brand Strategy & Design Consultancy with a second company. We acquired a home cleaning company called Home Squad. We asked them to help us create a new brand and do digital marketing.

Our main contact is our account lead. We also work with a team of 5–6 people, including a director, a social media manager, a PR lead, and a digital marketing expert.

For Feli’s Kitchen, our packaging actually won an award last year. We also get positive feedback from our customers around the packaging. They've done a great job with that. In terms of social media, we monitor overall following and engagement and so far we are on a positive trend.
Their work on Home Squad is still in the foundational stage. They so have targets identified to help us reach more followers on social media and eventually run some campaigns. Jpd is currently working on another brand idea for us. We're very excited to work with them on creating a new brand.

Their team is quite good at project management. I'm extremely happy with how organized they are. Each time we go to them with a new request, they come back to us with a proper project plan. They do a great job meeting their objective to help small and medium enterprises and startups. I'm the chief executive officer of a mechanical company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Jpd | Brand Strategy & Design Consultancy?
The company has existed since 1976, but we didn't have a strong brand. We engaged them to rebrand the company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We didn't have a clear mission, so we needed to uncover the core purpose of our company and rebrand from there. They interviewed all our employees and members of the board to get an understanding of the internal perception of the company. Then, they took us through their branding process. They evolved the brand logos and worked with us to develop all the important branding points. I was new at the company at the time, so it was helpful to get that broad set of perspectives.
