I’m the marketing manager of a full-scale digital marketing agency.

What challenge were you trying to address with Joshua Lyons Marketing?

We wanted to clear errors on one of our sites to do proper SEO, and we were looking for someone who could do that for a reasonable rate.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Joshua Lyons Marketing has been able to catch the errors of our non-raking site by going in the backend and cleaning up the coding to make the site faster and rank better. They also helped us do the same thing with a company that makes hurricane-protection products; it’s hurricane season, and we wanted to increase the visibility and profit for that site. Their service is mainly an SEO service.

I worked directly with Josh (Founder).

We found them through a networking group; they reached out to us to do a guest post on his site, and we started to build a relationship figuring out ways to work together.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $1,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They take care of stuff for us — they still help our business even if they don’t make any money out of it. I get way more than just SEO services from them. Additionally, we’ve been getting better visibility, which translates into having more clients in our business.

How did Joshua Lyons Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They make it an easy project. We just gave them access to the ship panel, and they did everything on their own. In terms of communication, we use phone calls and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re easy to work with; they create graphics, templates, and emails to send out to my clients. Additionally, they are proactive without asking for more money — that’s a feature that I think distinguishes them from other providers. I don’t need to do much because they take care of it all.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — it’s been a fluid relationship.

The credit union communicates with Joshua Lyons Marketing multiple times per week. SEO and marketing reports are provided monthly. To better reach our target audience, the credit union works with JLM to find the best and most effective search terms.

The credit union primarily works with Joshua Lyons, but has worked the general manager, Hailey, and other team members before.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because of the work Joshua Lyons Marketing provided, the credit union was able to grow and reach more people in our community that may not have otherwise found us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication between Joshua Lyons Marketing and the My Pensacola Credit Union team has always been clear and open. The JLM team recognizes our goals and takes the appropriate action to provide results.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The attention to detail and the knowledge of search engine rankings and results has been very impressive. The JLM team diligently works to rank the credit union higher and knows what terms interest potential members.

Josh kept us informed of his progress and provided a "draft" for review before going live - - he was very responsive throughout & completed the project in a timely fashion

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Josh is very willing to share his knowledge and take the time to educate you so that you have a full understanding of the opportunities. SEO can be very confusing and Josh is able to put it in layman's terms and make it easy to understand.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that I can think of . . . it was a very positive experience from start to finish

I have known Joshua for many years before we started working together. I was impressed with Joshua's command of marketing and SEO for members of our platform. During the time I knew Joshua he launched his company and that is when we kicked off our relationship.

Joshua is amazing with SEO and marketing. He loves analytics and does an incredible job of identifying ways to help our SEO. He does for us in a way that makes total sense for our site.

Joshua takes care of the day-to-day oversight of our SEO and is always thinking of new ways to help us and give us content ideas and creative ways to help boost our search engine ranking.

I have worked with 3 members of the team. I worked with them on some marketing initiatives along with our day-to-day SEO tasks.

Joshua has helped our SEO and improved our ranking to such a degree that he actually used us as a case study. Joshua wrote an extensive case study and also did an infographic to share it. We used this case study as a campaign to promote both our site to our members and to showcase Joshua's capabilities.

Joshua built this company from the ground up and I am so impressed with how far he has come over the last several years.
