Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the head of a health tech company and we build clinical healthcare systems for the NHS [National Health Service] in the UK. We’re growing fast, with about 50 employees, and we currently work with 13 different trust hospitals.
What challenge were you trying to address with Jazzy.pro?
When we first began working with them we were in the midst of a complex project developing a healthcare application, but we lacked in-house UX and UI and related project management expertise. We hired Jazzy to build one of our products end-to-end.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They worked with our team via Skype to understand what we needed, then created some initial wireframes and designs for us. They also did some work on the technical side as well. Most of their work was on front-end design, and I believe they used Twitter Bootstrap for that, and then they used CSS and Javascript to create our app.
During our collaboration we developed a good relationship with them, so we've also used them occasionally to create graphics and promotional materials, and also to build external products that we sell to customers. They helped us with some internal projects as well, including creating a portal where we store our documentation and can give customers access to it.
What is the team dynamic?
I know there was a whole team working on our products, but my main points of contact were Błażej Wojtyła [CEO, Jazzy.pro], Seweryn Zeman [CTO, Jazzy.pro], and then the graphic designer and the project manager.
How did you come to work with Jazzy?
They came recommended by a friend who'd used them to build out a prototype. I got in touch with Błażej and developed a very good relationship with him. He had the expertise I was looking for. We did a few small jobs so I could judge the quality of the company’s work and carried on from there.
How much have you invested with them?
Probably around £50,000 [$65,500 USD].
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in January 2015, so it’s been almost three years now. They're still supporting the applications they've built for us.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
For one of our projects, I worked with their UX designer on a prototype last winter for about three or four weeks, and we subsequently secured a £2,500,000 [$3,275,000] contract using that prototype.
How did Jazzy perform from a project management standpoint?
They've been brilliant. They've followed us to whatever platform we use to communicate and have always been very responsive. I also flew out to Poland a couple of times to work in their office directly.
At first, we used Skype and conference calls, but when we have ongoing work for a big project we now use project management tools like Jira Service Desk, Slack, and HipChat. It really depends on the type of project. At the moment we’re just touching base via email since there's nothing major in progress.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One thing that attracted me most to them, and that's been proven true over time as I've gotten to know their team, was that they've always felt like they weren't just working because they wanted to turn over a project, make money, and walk away. They're genuinely passionate about building start-ups and passionate about what they're doing in their work with companies like us. Yes, it generates a revenue for them, but it's also enabled them to work on internal projects that they're equally passionate about. Their focus is personal and they understand what we’re trying to achieve.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only issue I've ever had has been with language. It's not that their English is bad, but when you're trying to describe complex terminology associated with healthcare, which our content often requires, it can be a barrier. At the same time, I also know the company offers English lessons for the whole staff, so they are aware of that and are always trying to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If possible, make the effort to visit their office and meet their team. It gives you greater insight into their motivations and how they approach projects. You'll be better able to achieve your goals once you have that sense of mutual understanding.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
We develop backend software for media companies. I’m the co-founder and CEO.
What challenge were you trying to address with Jazzy.pro?
We have our own in-house backend development resources in Copenhagen, but we wanted to hire people to deliver high-quality frontend solutions. We wanted a team that could blend easily into our company without actually sitting in our offices.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve done several client frontend integrations for us in the past few months. For the first one, we sent a React template, but after that, they’ve developed new structures without templates.
Since that first project, they’ve worked on four other integrations. We deliver the backend code to them, and they develop the frontend from Poland.
What is the team dynamic?
Our primary contact is our account manager, Filip. Daniel and Kuba were our true frontend developers, and Błażej [CEO, Jazzy.pro] manages any high-level financial discussions.
How did you come to work with Jazzy.pro?
A colleague at Google recommended them. I called them a few times, then visited their office. After that, we did our first client test with them, and haven’t looked back since.
How much have you invested with them?
Jazzy may list a range for this project if they choose, but I prefer not to disclose that amount.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in April 2017 and we give them new work every month.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s too early for concrete statistics, but the number of platform users increased after we launched the first new frontend. The usability of the new UI [user interface] contributes significantly to those numbers. We’re really happy with their work and are doing more business with them.
How did Jazzy.pro perform from a project management standpoint?
They improved since they hired Filip last spring. He’s responsive and has a high-level view of our projects. We wanted a solid team dynamic, and a dedicated account manager really helps.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re heavily engaged in what we do and in understanding our audience. That’s an advantage, as they understand the background of each project and can provide more value.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At the beginning of our contract, there was no single point of contact. Since they hired Filip, the process is more structured.
Advice for potential customers?
Make sure you have a dedicated account manager who understands your business. Be transparent about your company’s size and your long-term goals.

I’m the co-founder and commercial director of DrOmnibus. We are a company that takes care of mobile technology allowing ABA therapy to operate while using a tablet or computer. We provide a kind of teletherapy mode for children with autism.
What challenge were you trying to address with Jazzy.pro?
We were trying to find a company that could come up with a technological solution to the problems our experts and people working with children were experiencing in therapy. Finding a company capable of this conversion was extremely difficult.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Jazzy is doing their job very well. They created our application and website, and since we wanted to outsource as much work as possible, they took quite a load off our in-house IT team.
Our app is a combination of IT translation from the ABA methods. We took the algorithms from ABA and converted it into the software, which is now available for everyone. There are in-app games that provide ABA therapy that look fairly simple, but they actually have in-depth algorithms making them work. ABA is the most effective therapy, and while games are the main part of our solution, they are, in essence, therapeutical tasks.
We have statistic mode and online therapy mode as well, along with a web panel that allows users to specialize their therapy. It’s not an AI system, but based on the statistic matter of these services, we’ll automatically adjust content to meet the needs of children. The system recognizes what level a user is on in order to provide appropriate content. Jazzy created the entire project solution.
The app is available on iOS and Android, and also on the web. We try to reach as large of an audience as possible.
What is the team dynamic?
We don’t have a permanent set of team members. There are a certain number of programmers or graphic designers depending on our needs.
How did you come to work with Jazzy.pro?
We established the company in 2012, and it took us a long time to find a company that could develop what we wanted to achieve. We met with Jazzy early on, and once we had an investor, we asked them to work for us. It’s been a long-term relationship, and they’ve worked on multiple projects with us.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in August 2013, and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been a part of the Google Launchpad, and we are still affiliated. We’ve been in San Francisco to meet with people from Google, and 2-3 of their experts were impressed with our technology.
How did Jazzy.pro perform from a project management standpoint?
I’m not involved with project management, but I’m assuming everything has been fine because I’ve continued to pay them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a personalized approach with us, and they didn’t just ask for money for development. They have one person do the software, and another takes care of the business model. They helped us learn the business properly in order to avoid mistakes.
They are able to help clients from different perspectives so bad decisions aren’t made within the business model. They are knowledgeable about what’s actually being done and if it’s going to work, which is extremely valuable as a client.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m unsure of the reports or the corporation, but it works fine. I can’t comment on their process because I’m not aware of how they work.
Their team’s adaptability and enthusiasm for their work translate into high-quality products, one of which helped land a major contract. Their responsiveness and focus on personalized attention overcome occasional language barriers and make them a pleasure to work with.
