BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am one of the owners at Commercial Construction Company in Phoenix and am responsible for all the financial, contractual, compliance and personnel concerns for the Company. I don't have much time to address the marketing efforts.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jack & Bean?

Initially we hired Jack & Bean to help us build a simple website from scratch. After seeing how all their solutions integrate with other marketing strategies and opportunities, it became clear that I need to expand their scope to help me with anything Marketing related that comes across my desk.

What were your goals for this project?

To find ways to personalize the construction services we offer so interested parties can get a good feel for our Company and the type of construction we specialize in.

Jack and Bean were recommended to me by another very happy client.

Both David and Jack have work directly with out account and making sure that we at all times are on the same page with our marketing strategies and outcomes. It was clear from the beginning that our satisfaction was paramount and they were willing to put how ever much time it was going to take to get it.

David's enthusiasm for what he does is contagious and I have never felt like he is ever looking to do anything less than 100%. I have presented ideas to him and he has been frank in providing the useful feedback I need to keep moving the projects forward.

He is organized and tenacious when needed so that nothing is ever stalled and that our marketing dollars are never going to waste.

What was the team composition?

I have worked mostly with David and his team of designers and writers as well as with Jack when customizing the type of marketing and design services our Company needed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our projects are still a work in progress while we collect the content we need but we have a vision and goals which make us feel we are good hands.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication and workflow between our two companies have been excellent. Whenever there is something needed, Jack or David jump in with a solution to keep our projects moving forward.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

How experiences they are in all things IT, Marketing, Website, Internet in addition to how clearly they are able to communicate their ideas and methods.

Even when we were not on the same page, I was able to speak honestly about what I liked and disliked and they were so positive about receiving both the positive and negative feedback - it was really impressive and appreciated.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None that I have seen..

I am the Vice President of a boutique consulting firm in the family entertainment space. We are a small company so we rely on Jack and Bean to fill the role of a marketing department. We are a B to B company, and they understand our business. Many firms try to use B to C strategies universally and that doesn't work for us.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jack & Bean?

We hired Jack and Bean to build a website for a new product we launched. In addition, they provide graphics and eblast assistance for a monthly report we produce, as well as for email marketing campaigns. This year we are rebuilding our main website, and developing an SEO strategy that will be executed going forward.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to create a new website using our existing platform, on a tight budget. After creating the site, we used an eblast strategy to provide links to reports and other content on the site. We needed these eblast to be very professional and superior to the typical eblasts that fill our inboxes every day.

How did you select this vendor?

This vendor was referred to us by a data architect we were using for another project.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

This project was on a tight budget, so we needed to use the back end platform of our existing site to create a site that looks brand new to the user. Furthermore, the report we created needed to be very professional looking. We charge people for access, so we can't simply send an eblast like everyone else. They were able to meet our expectations on budget.

What was the team composition?

I've worked closely with the owner, as well as several members of the team in web development and graphic design. In addition, they were able to access outside talent for data integrations that were complex. I appreciated that they brought in a specialist as opposed to trying to figure it out themselves.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They were able to meet our budget and timeline, and the quality of the product was great.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have not had any issues with workflow from them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

This company was able to improve on the products we were getting from our previous marketing agency. In addition, they were able to do this for a lower cost.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I have used them for creating print ads and they execute well and on time. However, they could improve on their creative side of creating print ads.
