At Itirra, we envision to bring passion and care back to software development, as it is so frequently lost behind the modern race for speed and profit. We want to be a stepping stone to a world where innovation isn't stalled by thousands of unfortunate client-vendor encounters and where development is a joint venture, sparked by the customer and fueled to success with the technical team. It is this mission that is at our core and has allowed us to grow Itirra into a truly special boutique software development company.
We strongly believe in the boutique software development approach, where trusted client relationships, dedication to results, passion, and innovation are placed before scale, HR, marketing, and complex organizational structures. What we save in being small, we invest in being powerful. Being able to quickly adopt new technologies, approaches, and react to market changes together with our clients.
As our main areas of expertise, we focus on Growing Businesses and Healthcare / Wellness, helping with custom cloud & mobile solutions, business automation, system integration, BI and data-driven systems.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of AIDA Healthcare, a healthcare solutions company. We’re a SaaS product for the hospital and health systems industry, specifically focusing on case management efficiency, patient care transition processes and improvements, and hospital and health system budget improvements.
What challenge were you trying to address with ITIRRA?
We wanted to solve the efficiency of the case management department within hospitals.
What was the scope of their involvement?
ITIRRA was helping us with software development. We set up the scope of work, and then they started developing the product. In version 1, the key deliverables were to have the product connect the stakeholders from hospitals and the other business side.
We wanted to connect the B2B clients of our company, who were patient profile building, HIPAA compliant file exchanging, and direct communication within our platform.
We started selling our product with version 1, and today, we have extended our service with ITIRRA with a few developers to a larger team. We are looking at building version 2 of our product with them as well.
What is the team composition?
We work with Michael (Founder & CEO) and Alexei (CTO & Co-Founder). We also work with four engineers.
How did you come to work with ITIRRA?
I got to know about them through a friend in the industry. He had done some projects with ITIRRA. We scoped out the work and took a bid from three companies.
There are a few reasons we chose them over other vendors.
One was the price was very competitive, and their references checked out very well. Their track record was great.
How much have you invested with them?
I believe we’re getting close to $900,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with ITIRRA on the first version in May 2017, and we’re still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We initially tracked metrics for version 1. After that, we simply used the monthly budget based on how many engineers we needed to hire. We now have a principal product manager who oversees the product, but I’m still following the progress. They’re doing great.
I also like, and still like, the fact that this particular team that we work with right now goes beyond simply following our orders and executing them. They take the time to review our proposed product roadmap. They’re challenging and sometimes counter us with better solutions.
There is the fact that they think outside of the box; they’re not a ‘yes sir’ type of developer. They also point out better ways to improve our product, scope, and roadmap. Those are the top three reasons we chose to work with them.
How did ITIRRA perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication was great. Everyone speaks English, and there are no issues. Deadlines were always met.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The fact that their team doesn’t simply take our orders is what’s impressive. The team challenged our scope and product roadmap, and oftentimes, they offer the possibility to get a better outcome than what we have thought of.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not really. I can’t think of anything, and I’ve been very happy with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You get what you pay for. The highest price doesn’t always mean the best quality. The summary of this advice is that ITIRRA falls right in the middle.
They’re not over or underpriced. The price is just right. My advice is to discuss the MVP with their team before moving on.
The next version of the product will be developed by ITIRRA. Their team provided a skilled service, striving to better the product. Their transparent and honest communication makes them stand out from other providers. Customers can expect a team that thinks outside of the box.
