Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the head of development for a shoe company. I manage various IT, HR, and development projects.

What challenge were you trying to address with ITGix?

We needed someone to manage our backend in terms of server maintenance and backups.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ITGix maintains our servers and keeps them up to date. They also run security diagnostics and our disaster recovery sites. They use Oracle Database and WebLogic, with a multitude of different virtual server environments, as well. Our monitoring systems are also handled by their team.

What is the team composition?

There’s a generic help email we can message whenever we need assistance.

How did you come to work with ITGix?

They were recommended. We’d worked with a few other providers who weren’t good, but ITGix seemed clean and professional, so we hired them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked together since October 2015.

We recently had a disaster on one of our cloud platforms, and we were able to resume service using ITGix’s disaster recovery site. They’re a solid company that our employees enjoy interacting with.

How did ITGix perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re responsive and timely. Because of the nature of the work, we share a large amount of documentation, and they keep it organized and accessible. We communicate via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They work quickly and complete assignments properly.
