IT-Magic move our architecture to AWS and setup Kubernetes environment. They also helped setup the RDS databases, ElasticCache, Reddis, WAF, load balancers, Ec2 instances, API, and S3. They delivered a reliable infrastructure for our SaaS software that is secure and easy to manage.

They provide regular devops support in case of updates, advise to further improve our AWS infrastructure, and resolve any issues.

Successful migration: The complete and stable migration of the development and production applications to the new Amazon EKS environment.

Vulnerability remediation: Elimination of security risks associated with the outdated operating system.

Reduced operational overhead: Lowered management burden for the infrastructure team due to the use of managed AWS services (EKS, RDS, ElastiCache).

I’m the CEO of Limitless Fitness Inc., a SaaS company for fitness creators and trainers.

What challenge were you trying to address with IT–Magic?

Every time we made any changes to our app or web tools, we had to use the server side to implement them. We needed cloud infrastructure to work between the developers and the product itself. We hired IT–Magic to create the infrastructure and code that goes into our products.

What was the scope of their involvement?

IT–Magic has created the infrastructure from scratch according to our requirements. The infrastructure works with AWS.

We work with about five people, including Alexander (Founder) and a project manager. 

How did you come to work with IT–Magic?

We found them on Upwork because we were looking for DevOps people in general. We went through various candidates and met with Alexander. He explained the process and technical side and then showed us other examples of their work. We discussed how the partnership would proceed, and they came back with rough estimates of everything. 

We chose them because we researched particular criteria, and they had very positive reviews and feedback from their previous customers.

We’ve invested around $3,000.

We started working together in August 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The code is automatically implemented into the product, so we don’t have to do anything manually. The developers in our company have also been happy with the work IT–Magic is providing. 

How did IT–Magic perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve met all of the estimations they initially made, and they’ve stayed within budget. We communicate with them via Slack. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They communicate very easily with our developers, and every IT–Magic team member has certifications and is an expert at what they do.

We have stable infrastructure with 99.99% site uptime, we save over 40% of costs and can always be sure that in case of any problem they are ready to help us.

We always try to focus on tasks where we are experts and let them manage everything related to DevOps side of projects. It helps us to build the best communication.

Throughout the work with the ITMagic team, the Bank received recommendations based on practical experience and continuous improvement of knowledge. As a result, the ITMagic team built the right infrastructure landscape that meets the requirements of security, fault tolerance and scalability.

At different times, 2-3 specialists were allocated to our project, depending on the tasks and intensity of the project. But if necessary, there is an opportunity to contact CTO both for prioritizing tasks and for advice when looking for the best solution.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As an example, ITMagic took over the work of the developers in relation to setting up the CI/CD processes, which allowed for better coordination of processes, increasing the speed and quality of services.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow of the team from the first month was built on the Jira ticket system, and for efficiency, a telegram channel and short video conferences are used.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Firstly, it is the speed of response to any questions. Regardless of the SLA, the guys try to stay in touch as much as possible. Secondly, I don't remember there was a task that the ITMagic team hadn't dealt with before. There is a solution for everything, while offering a cost-balanced solution.

To date, we are satisfied with the work of the ITMagic team, there are no complaints.
