The project was implemented for a client in real estate industry. The core product is the platform that connects the world of CRE by mapping data and insights from the titans of data and real estate.

This was a multi-phased project.

Phase 1 of the project was to redesign and redevelop a few Product Updates newsletters according to the new brand kit.

Phase 2 of the project was to redesign and develop a

number of promotional and monthly newsletters and landing pages.

Implementation:

Custom code, content blocks with a loop and conditional statements made it easy to create flexible and appealing newsletters and landing pages.

Project Benefits:

The development work in ESP has been done in a way to allow the marketing team to take maximum flexibility of the tool and build their marketing campaigns seamlessly based on predefined and highly scalable templates.

This proprietary CRM webapp, has been developed from scratch, to help automate and improve client management and acquisition  processes for a NYC based startup – One Shot Marketing LLC. Some key functionality includes an internal messaging system, task delegation module with easy tasklist replication, file uploads and basic statistics. Prior to reaching out to IT Creative Labs, our client has tested a number of other

existing software solutions and tried different approaches to tackle automation and reporting issues that were mounting within their startup as it was continuously growing. Nonetheless, due to innate specifics of the business process and a non-trivial structure they soon realized the need for a custom solution. 

INITIATION

In the early stages of the project, O.S.M. team didn’t have a clear vision of what it was they wanted to build, which is absolutely OK and quite common for many clients, especially those coming from a non-technical background. At this point our delegated product owner works with the client to convey their vision into a thorough backlog, identifying and prioritizing main features and writing user stories. This is key to successfully starting any agile software development project and One Shot Marketing were actively engaged in the process which helped to move passed this milestone very quickly.

DESIGN

It isn’t uncommon for users to access the system on mobile devices in locations with limitted connectivity, so we proposed a light and minimalistic visual design, with very few graphic elements and nested menu structures. We opted for a classic slideout left-side menu scheme which gives users easy access to all the key functions of the platform. Twitter bootstrap is used for layout and responsive functionality and thus the app looks and behaves exactly the same across multiple screens, browsers and devices.

Melbourne-based natural skincare company was expanding its business online and turned to IT Creative Labs for consultation on choosing the right solution and options for their e-commerce endeavor. Satisfied with the quality of our consulting services, ApoteKah continued their business relationship with ITCL as their technology partner to help with PCI DSS compliance and integration work.

INTEGRATION

Integrating ApoteKah’s online store with eWay’s payment gateway was quick and straightforward. Within a day everything was up and running. As mentioned previously we also added an option for customers to pay with PayPal.

INCREASED REVENUE

While inspecting ApoteKah’s website our SEO specialist noticed that a number of customers were leaving the site after spending some time on the product page without actually closing the sale. We proposed using a free on-line chat solution, from a third party vendor, to help with customer engagement, as there were clear signs that consumers were lacking some necessary information. After adding the online chat to their website ApoteKah saw a 20% sales spike within a week. They decided to keep it on the site permanently.

Having a merchant account at the bank saves ApoteKah five figures just on the processing fees alone, not mentioning the comforting benefit of having liquid cash on the same day of the transaction which can be reinvested in raw materials and cover other product development costs right away.

The task was to build a virtual fitting room for eyelashes that could scale to a large number of clients. This had to be a responsive web app, integrated into a WooCommerce store as a plug-in. The main challenges were scaling analysis, photo manipulation (Exif data, rotation, scaling, plotting) face recognition, eye detection, lash positioning and scaling, drag-n-drop implementation.

The knowhow of

the solution was to develop the entire application in javascript (including thel face recognition logic). With all the computations being handled on the client’s side the app could easily scale with no additional resources – a huge cost saver.

We decided to use Tensorflow.js to detect facial features and a set of specifically trained models that showed the best results.

A lot of work had to be done to scale and rotate the photos appropriately, as well as apply eye lash transformations and a a drag-n-drop functionality.

Custom carousel was added to pull products from WooCommerce using the API.

In order to showcase the project to the client a full fledged WooCommerce staging environment had to setup and configured inside a docker container.

Full data migration needed to be done, including all content assets, dynamic blocks, portfolio items, contact data, etc. Complete initial setup of the new platform, including users and permissions security settings, custom domain and SAP. Setup of scheduled and triggered automations to maintain the DB and pre-populate it with daily contacts' activity.

All the deliverables were completed with highest degree of quality and with a great turnaround time. This was a high priority and high-visibility project for us and IT Creative Labs team managed it successfully. It's important to note that this project was executed during holiday season and IT Creative Labs team took that into account and delivered on every aspect without any delays. They demonstrated great risk and issue management keeping everything under control.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We were mostly in touch with the project manager and the technical lead. Both were extremely organized, always on-point and kept us in-check as well. We have been receiving regular updates, we did daily status calls with our teams and everyone was constantly in-sync.

Their level of professionalism is something we haven't experienced even with some of the larger companies we worked with.
