Introduce your business and what you do there. 

I’m the founder and director of a PR Consultancy in Hong Kong called Prime Communications Limited. We typically work with local and international companies within the tech and finance industries but have also worked with other industries.


What challenge were you trying to address with Isoline Communications? 

We tasked Isoline Communications with supporting our content marketing for our clients. They specialize in English content development and provide a range of accompanying services.


What was the scope of their involvement? 

We work together on a near daily basis to develop English copy for our clients. This ranges from writing press releases, articles, and reports to website development support. 

One of our recurring projects is an annual report that we publish to highlight our utility and manufacturing clients’ positions within their industries. Isoline Communications has worked on this project for many years, so they’ve developed an in-depth understanding of our clients’ businesses and how to assess them.

To create the content, their team must analyze our clients’ provided information and translate it into meaningful information. This involves accurately identifying each company’s strengths, positioning them within the market, and demonstrating how they deal with a changing environment. The goal is to construct a strong narrative that markets our clients as leaders within their field.

What is the team composition?  

We work with 2–3 resources, communicating mostly by phone and email. 

How did you come to work with Isoline Communications? 

I’ve known their founder for close to 20 years, now. We met in Hong Kong as colleagues while working at the same company. Since then, we’ve remained good partners.

What is the status of this engagement? 

The partnership started in 2015 when Isoline Communications was formed and continues to deepen. We still collaborate on quite a lot of projects.


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The clients consistently like Isoline Communication's work. They’re a creative team that produces high-quality content, which makes placement and pitching to the media easier. Because they’re able to convert technical information into layman terms, it’s much easier for readers to comprehend key information.

How did Isoline Communications perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re responsible, work quickly, and keep to the deadlines. I also appreciate that they’re open to feedback. Sometimes writers tend to stick to stick to their ideas and aren’t willing to listen. But Isoline Communications takes our comments to heart, catering their work to meet our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

Not only are they good listeners, but they’re also willing to bring their own perspective to the table. At times, they’ve challenged the brief and suggested alternative solutions to presenting the content. This discussion often makes the copy better overall. 

Are there any areas they could improve? 

I hope that they can expand their team. They’re really good, so it’s natural that they have a lot of work on hand.
