Craigmyle Auto Body - 30
While much of our work is for larger corporations, we love working with small businesses, delivering a quality of video that they may not be able to achieve otherwise. Our friends at Craigmyle are one such example. Craigmyle needed video to drive more clients their way. They wanted to lean into their family history, work ethic, and trustworthiness. Iron Wing helped with concepting, script writing, production, and sound design.

WestFax Brewing Co - Story
Iron Wing was commisioned by Denver based brewery, Westfax, to create photography and a brand story video.

BM2 Freight - "Excellence Only"
BM2 Freight is a growing logistics broker in our hometown of Cincinnati. They contacted us with a need for a promotional video.
After a few meetings with their marketing department and owners, we started work on script and pre-production.
We found in our meetings that BM2 has a very strong culture, they truly care about their customers, and they are very authentic. Given those points, we wanted to feature real employees and owner, rather than hire talent.
They wanted to feature their awards and recognitions, as well as their core values.
A script was created, revised, and the idea of a walk and talk was tossed around to give the video more life.
We planned on setting up interviews with a couple of the owners, as well as a few employees. This allowed us to give additional content for the marketing department for a push to social, on top of the primary video asset. We love doing this when we can, for additional value add.
Videos were edited, motion graphics were added, revisions were made, and final video was delivered.

Focal Pointe Eye Care - "Relax. See Well. Look Good."
Iron Wing worked with the owners of Focal Pointe Eye Care to produce digital content. We handled ideation through post, delivering to a thrilled client that is now winning over more clients with this video.

TREDS - Flexible - “TREDS in Action” series
Iron Wing produced a series of digital ads for TREDS overboots, highlighting TREDS five key features: Durability, Ease of Use, Flexibility, Lightweight, and Waterproof.

The Mama Bear Effect - "Sarah's Gold Award"
The Mama Bear Effect commissioned Iron Wing to create a mini documentary about Sarah, a child sexual abuse survivor that The Mama Bear Effect assisted in the design and production of her patch program, Stand Up and Speak Out. This lead to Sarah receiving the highest honor in Girl Scouts, the Gold Award.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I used to oversee marketing and operations management for WestFax Brewing Company in Denver, Colorado. I was managing their branding and social media marketing.
What challenge were you trying to address with Iron Wing Studios?
Denver is a popular but competitive place to be a brewery. We relied on Iron Wing Studios to provide us with visual and video content to help us market ourselves.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Over a few days of shooting, they delivered branded photography that we used for our new website. They also took shots of our team for our profile and portfolio pages. They captured images of our products and brewery, which we could use as social media content. They designed our graphics and promotion-type materials to use for that purpose as well.
They created video content in two different projects. One of them was to create a storytelling piece capturing the behind-the-scenes at the brewery. We did both offsite and onsite filming, where they also shot materials in the Denver nature. In addition, they shot a series of video blogs for us—about 12–15 per day. We integrated those vlogs into our larger content strategy and utilized them for email marketing campaigns.
They handled everything until post-production. They provided me with both the raw images, as well as edited photography. They performed the sound- and video-editing for our branding and blog videos. They incorporated sound effects, music, and video cuts.
What is the team composition?
Brandon (Film Production & Sound Design) was my main point of contact and project manager.
How did you come to work with Iron Wing Studios?
I knew Brandon through an existing network. He had a great reputation for not only his work but his integrity. I’d worked with him on different types of projects in the past.
How much have you invested with them?
We probably spent somewhere between $5,000–$10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
They came out to work with us in February of 2018 and we had all the final assets ready by late April of that year.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We saw great success in using their photography on our social media platforms. I believe it was a 136% engagement rate that we experienced across different platforms.
It’s difficult to isolate their impact since we’d just launched an improved website, but I can attest to the fact that their branding and imagery boosted our brand recognition. We can attribute our huge digital growth and engagement to their work.
I was able to repurpose the video material to promote our anniversary weekend, and we were able to beat our benchmark by over 36%. The video definitely increased our excitement and exposure for that event weekend, which we also appreciated.
How did Iron Wing Studios perform from a project management standpoint?
We didn’t miss any deadlines. Brandon is super communicative and accommodating of whatever your style is. It’s great because you can tell him what you want and you can trust that he’ll really capture your vision. He asks the right questions to make sure everyone’s on the same page. He’s accommodating about communication; we talked through the phone, text, or email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve never met someone in that industry who’s as intentional and detail-oriented as Brandon. The team really penny-pinches their time if they believe a detail needs to be perfected. They’ll put in the time to get it right because they really care about their work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think so. We had to cram a lot into a few days. It was remarkable how much we were able to accomplish. The tightness of the schedule was on us. It was a seamless process from start to finish, regardless.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you know exactly what you want, Iron Wing can execute that. If you have no idea, Iron Wing has brilliant creative minds to guide you through that process.
Iron Wing Studios’ successful delivery led to a surge in the client’s digital recognition. Thanks to their work, the client exceeded their social media engagement goals by 36%. They’re a brilliant, creative team that can accommodate any working style. They’re also detail-oriented and diligent.
