I'm the Co-Founder of DigiPlan in Austria. We develop and distribute a plan takeoff software for the construction industry that saves up to 80% time for creating a construction offer.

Iomico was able to provide people with sufficient experience in that area. Also they adapted quickly on the required needs and were able to source new people if required.

The scope of work was to identify all outdated libraries of the project and to plan an upgrade strategy for each one. Also creating documentation for the platform was part of the scope.

The project was completed on time and on budget. We were also able to do improvements/refactoring of the existing codebase that was not planned at the beginning.

We had weekly sync calls. We used a mixture of Google spreadsheet + Gitlab projects to coordinate the tasks. For communication we used Slack. They were very responsible we got answers very quickly.

Most impressive was the ability to quickly source people for a wide range of technologies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The developer's English skills were a bit rusty but with the PM it was no problem at all.
