They were a good culture fit to work with us. They are very oriented around ensuring that they are providing the level of quality that we need. A lot of the work that we do is on platforms and applications that many developers wouldn’t have had past experience with. There was a fair amount of training that had to be done and they were just really willing to receive feedback well and they were very interested in how they could continue to improve their skills. Their attitude was just a really great fit.

How much have you invested in them?

I would guess it has been around $60,000–$70,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working with them for eight months, and our work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have helped our team to be more efficient in getting work done. Typically, they are working with our team as a part of other projects, and it isn’t like they have things that are just solely theirs to deliver. I would say that they have helped us to meet our time and budget deadlines that we have with our clients, and delivering high-quality work is a part of that.

How did INVID, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

We actually had some of the team from INVID come to our office for a period of time, and they really meshed well with our team. Even though we are working remotely, we are on daily calls with the team member we are working with and it has been a fabulous experience.

We primarily collaborate using Microsoft Teams. They are using the tools that we use for communication as a team. They have gone out of their way to ensure that they over-deliver on we give them. The communication has been outstanding. There have been instances where they are working off-hours to make sure that they are getting things done that we needed. They are very responsive. If they see a note that we are struggling with something and they might be able to help with it, they jump on it. I have been very pleased with our experience.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their key strengths are their communication and their attitude. They have a lot of interest in getting feedback and improving. Any point that we have had concerns or given constructive feedback, they have been extremely receptive to and wanting to correct it. Those are things I look for in a good partner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they aren’t perfect, but they’ve done a good job. I’ve raised any concerns I have had with them, and they’ve addressed them.

They developed a national system for digital property registration. Now, we are working on a new project for national tariffs collection management. We integrated a system they had developed previously into our payment platform to create these tariffs and deliver the income to corresponding agencies and institutions. There are two systems that communicate through APIs.

We competed with them for a project in 2014. They won the bid, but we developed a good relationship with them. We wanted to work with them because they were talented, proactive, and productive.

The integration of their platform into ours yielded positive results. We’ve had about 50,000 transactions with their system. Using their system increased our sales and made the management of the public money for the treasury department and the property registry easier. For the first time in history, we started to validate and cancel tariffs digitally, which eliminates fraud.

They did the work on time. Working with the government is not easy and the procedures are not easy to follow, which resulted in being behind schedule. We had delays, but it wasn't just because of them.

I appreciated their accessibility at all times and the ease in working with them. They are always open, willing to cooperate, ready to work, and exceptionally savvy on their platform.

They have a good staff, but the market for that kind of talent is competitive. There are not many people with their specialized talents and we are in a small market, so they’ve had a hard time keeping their talent.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the general manager at a digital communications agency. We do marketing and communications, SEO, search engine marketing, and social media marketing, as well as the development of mobile apps and business platforms. We also work on UX and frontend design. Typically, we search for a partner to work with us on backend programming.

We partner with INVID on complex technologies that complement our business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have worked with them on several projects. They have been our technology partner for some of the most complex projects we´ve had. We specialize in UX, and we advise companies on that, but when we approach these projects, we often come up with recommendations that are technologically complex, so we work with INVID for advice. They are deeply specialized in technologies like SharePoint and WordPress, so when we have projects that involve working with these technologies, we contact them. They also collaborate with us when we test projects.

What is the team composition?

They have an internal team, but we manage the projects directly with one or two project managers.

How did you come to work with INVID, LLC?

I got to know them through Microsoft. We were working on a project that required the use of SharePoint with especially high-security levels. Microsoft directly recommended INVID to work with us on this project.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around $500,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The last project we had with them was about 10 months ago.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had positive results from our collaboration with them. They executed all of the projects extremely well and the clients have been satisfied. We’ve barely had any calls from our clients about errors or bugs, which is important to us. This affirms to us that we are providing long-lasting, high-quality products.

How did INVID, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They use a project management tool to collaborate with our project managers. When we work with them, we know that we can sleep soundly. We know that when we commit to a date, their professionalism and communication level ensures that they will deliver, and if they can’t meet the deadline, we will know about it in advance and know the reasons why.

What did you find most impressive about them?

There are two things I found especially valuable when working with them. One is that they improve ideas with their technology; they always find ways to make things work. The other is that they are open and honest. We can sit, talk, and solve any conflict that may arise, and that is especially valuable to me. They are a reliable partner that we can trust.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I know no one is perfect, but I am very satisfied with their work right now.
