A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a senior specialist at the Association of Public Health Laboratories. We support other public health laboratories in the US and globally.
What challenge were you trying to address with INVID, LLC?
After Puerto Rico was hit with back to back hurricanes in 2017, we received crisis funding to help them rebuild their lab back to what it was pre-hurricane. INVID supported us in finding resources to do that.
What was the scope of their involvement?
A lot of what we were doing in Puerto Rico was hiring staff. We worked with INVID to be able to identify staff within the jurisdiction that had that specialized IT experience based on needs shared with us by the Puerto Rico Department of Health. That staff worked to get the health department IT infrastructure back up.
What is the team composition?
They hired one staff member, and we worked with one staff member from INVID to manage that person.
How did you come to work with INVID, LLC?
I wasn’t involved in the recruitment, but I believe some of our colleagues had worked with them in the past and knew they had specialized expertise.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from early 2019 until about May 2020, when our contract ran out. The initial contract was only 12 months, but based on the needs of the Department of Health and the contractor’s performance, they requested we extend the contract.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Initially, we had plans to hire two resources but based on the project scope, we ended up only hiring one. They were very quick to find the candidates for us and negotiate the contract. That speed was really spectacular because the project itself was a crisis response. It was what we needed.
The Department of Health was very happy with the contractor’s performance, and we were pleased with how responsive INVID as a whole was to our needs.
How did INVID, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
There wasn’t really a need to use project management tools, as the project was small and we really only needed to manage that one staff person. That being said, INVID was very responsive and skilled when it came to determining the scope of work for that person when we needed to extend the contractor response.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The availability of the staff was excellent. I was very impressed with the resources they were able to bring forward for the position.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing that comes to mind. We were able to get the contract in really quickly, and when we had to amend the contract, they were responsive. There’s nothing I would’ve asked for them to do differently.

Please describe your company and your position there.
We're the leading and largest health insurance company in Puerto Rico. We have been at the forefront to ensure the present and future of health. We were the pioneers in offering free choice of medical services.
We work to fulfill our commitment to provide services to all segments of our population and we are proud that more than 1.2 million policyholders are in our hands. I lead the Vendor Management Office within the technology department.
For what projects/services did your company hire INVID, LLC, and what were your goals?
Before the process of implementing Intranet SharePoint, there were several portals with different instances and groups created by companies. Much of the information had to be duplicated on each portal.
We were using an old and non-supportive version. We had an excess of information and changing content. Use of metrics. multiple channels and products to share the same information.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Years ago we knew about INVID and their ability to support us in the development of our new Intranet. For previous experiences in other projects with us and provide us with a more cost / effective option
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The product is used as an internal communication tool available to employees of our company and its affiliates, where they can access information about the Organization, such as: policies, newsletters, forms, announcements, photos, among others. In addition, it is used as a repository for information that is relevant to the company in terms of legal knowledge and compliance for employees.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
There are approximately 3,800 users who can access the platform, but specifically there are 20 users assigned to provide maintenance to a total of six companies within the portal.
Appearance (Look & feel), easy navigation.
Access has been varied and a strategy is being worked on to increase its use, however, with all the information related to COVID-19, having the intranet has been a valuable tool to keep employees informed. The difficulty we face in terms of metrics is the poor information that SharePoint provides us to be able to properly measure its use.
Its use was effective in the first month of launch with 94% unique visitors. As time has passed, its percentage has decreased, so communication strategies will be implemented to motivate its use. As for the time to invest in the process for its maintenance, it was reduced by almost 90%.
So far the feedback our internal clients are pleased with the design and the easy navigation to get the desired information.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We are satisfied with the final product, although we must continue to work on increasing utilization.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the president and CEO of an e-commerce provider.
What challenge were you trying to address with INVID, LLC?
We needed help with .NET development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They are providing us with .NET development talent and resources.
What is the team composition?
We had two people at the beginning of the project but have since scaled back to one person.
How did you come to work with INVID, LLC?
They were a good culture fit to work with us. They are very oriented around ensuring that they are providing the level of quality that we need. A lot of the work that we do is on platforms and applications that many developers wouldn’t have had past experience with. There was a fair amount of training that had to be done and they were just really willing to receive feedback well and they were very interested in how they could continue to improve their skills. Their attitude was just a really great fit.
How much have you invested in them?
I would guess it has been around $60,000–$70,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We have been working with them for eight months, and our work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They have helped our team to be more efficient in getting work done. Typically, they are working with our team as a part of other projects, and it isn’t like they have things that are just solely theirs to deliver. I would say that they have helped us to meet our time and budget deadlines that we have with our clients, and delivering high-quality work is a part of that.
How did INVID, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
We actually had some of the team from INVID come to our office for a period of time, and they really meshed well with our team. Even though we are working remotely, we are on daily calls with the team member we are working with and it has been a fabulous experience.
We primarily collaborate using Microsoft Teams. They are using the tools that we use for communication as a team. They have gone out of their way to ensure that they over-deliver on we give them. The communication has been outstanding. There have been instances where they are working off-hours to make sure that they are getting things done that we needed. They are very responsive. If they see a note that we are struggling with something and they might be able to help with it, they jump on it. I have been very pleased with our experience.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their key strengths are their communication and their attitude. They have a lot of interest in getting feedback and improving. Any point that we have had concerns or given constructive feedback, they have been extremely receptive to and wanting to correct it. Those are things I look for in a good partner.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they aren’t perfect, but they’ve done a good job. I’ve raised any concerns I have had with them, and they’ve addressed them.

What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed the platform.

I’m the accounting manager at a beach resort. The resort also has real estate developments, and I provide information about the different companies we have in the system to the management.
What challenges were you trying to address with INVID, LLC?
We were having issues with our reporting system. The software we had didn't provide enough information for us to make agile decisions.
What was the scope of their involvement?
INVID, LLC created a platform that sends information to a database from which we create reports in a fast and effective way. They used Azure SQL.
What is the team composition?
I was in direct communication with one person, but I don’t know how many were working on the project.

We were in touch at least once a week by email or phone to check on the project’s progress.
What did you find most impressive about them?

Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior IT manager for Motorambar, Inc., a car importing and distribution company in Puerto Rico.
What challenge were you trying to address with INVID, LLC?
My company wanted a centralized portal to distribute information to different departments. We also wanted a collaboration tool that would be accessible at all times. My team hired INVID, LLC to develop intranet portals on SharePoint and Office 365.
What was the scope of their involvement?
INVID, LLC integrated their SharePoint product with our platform. Then, they developed our corporate intranet portal and all of our sub-intranet portals for each department within the company.
What is the team composition?
My team has worked with a developer and an account manager.
How did you come to work with INVID, LLC?
INVID, LLC had developed an intranet portal and done other SharePoint development projects when I worked for a previous employer. Since I knew their work, I recommended them to my current company.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in November 2018. We completed the intranet portals project, and we have continued to work with them to add new functionalities.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The results were excellent and allowed us to reach our company goals. Overall, we are very happy with our relationship with INVID, LLC.
How did INVID, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
My team was primarily responsible for managing the project. INVID, LLC’s team members worked with our developers and shared process updates with us so that we could move deployment along. We mostly used Office tools. We also deployed an online project server to organize the workflow and schedule.
What did you find most impressive about them?
INVID, LLC listened to our observations and made necessary adjustments to meet our needs. They are more than suppliers; they have become our technology business partners. They help us develop ways of closing the gap between our corporate and business strategies.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of a technology solutions firm. We develop solutions for government institutions and private enterprises.
What challenge were you trying to address with INVID, LLC?
When someone wants to register a property, they have to pay tariffs. We wanted them to help us set up a payment system for these tariffs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed a national system for digital property registration. Now, we are working on a new project for national tariffs collection management. We integrated a system they had developed previously into our payment platform to create these tariffs and deliver the income to corresponding agencies and institutions. There are two systems that communicate through APIs.
What is the team composition?
I'm in contact with three people. There may be more people working on the project internally.
How did you come to work with INVID, LLC?
We competed with them for a project in 2014. They won the bid, but we developed a good relationship with them. We wanted to work with them because they were talented, proactive, and productive.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them around November 2017 and continue working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The integration of their platform into ours yielded positive results. We’ve had about 50,000 transactions with their system. Using their system increased our sales and made the management of the public money for the treasury department and the property registry easier. For the first time in history, we started to validate and cancel tariffs digitally, which eliminates fraud.
How did INVID, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
They did the work on time. Working with the government is not easy and the procedures are not easy to follow, which resulted in being behind schedule. We had delays, but it wasn't just because of them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I appreciated their accessibility at all times and the ease in working with them. They are always open, willing to cooperate, ready to work, and exceptionally savvy on their platform.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They have a good staff, but the market for that kind of talent is competitive. There are not many people with their specialized talents and we are in a small market, so they’ve had a hard time keeping their talent.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm a project manager for the Public Health Informatics Institute, a global health nonprofit task force.
What challenge were you trying to address with Invid?
We engaged Invid to develop the frontend of a web portal that allows medical providers to order and send lab test results to patients through a project funded by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention in Puerto Rico.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Invid designed the frontend of our web-based platform, using Angular 5, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. They also collaborated with our partners in Puerto Rico as needed, working around the backend built on Microsoft SQL.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 2–3 developers on their team, generally communicating with them on a bi-weekly basis through phone.
How did you come to work with Invid?
Someone recommended Invid to one of my colleagues, so we interviewed them and liked the proposal they presented the most compared to others we considered. They were not only genuinely interested in a partnership with us, but also willing to help us on-site in Puerto Rico and work with our tight schedule and budget.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested around $35,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from March–June 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Invid's frontend development work was instrumental in the outcome of our entire platform. Despite the challenges brought on by the recently devastating hurricane in Puerto Rico, Invid was able to wrap up their work very well.
How did Invid perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team was very communicative and responsive to our needs throughout the engagement. We held bi-weekly calls with them to go over any updates and they were very quick to respond to us whenever we had any questions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very receptive to our feedback and eager to work with us throughout the process. They were also proactive about communicating and working around our schedules.
Are there any areas they could improve?

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Mortgage System Administrator Supervisor at FirstBank PR, which is the second-most prominent bank in Puerto Rico for retail and mortgage transactions.
For what projects/services did your company hire INVID, LLC?
We believed that our customer information was decentralized, which produced a troublesome follow-up trend.
What were your goals for this project?
We hired INVID to create a controlled database of prospective customer transactions received through our call center and loan officer contracts channels.
How did you select this vendor?
After analyzing three company presentations, we selected INVID because they presented the most thorough strategy to fulfill our needs. Further, INVID provided ideas not originally considered, which helped us integrate additional information from clients for a better analysis during the evaluation of the mortgage transaction.
Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?
INVID designed, developed, configured, and launched our lead solution. We established weekly meetings to report on progress and identify areas for improvement. We drafted a service contract that detailed the support guidelines and protocol for handling later versions.
What was the team composition?
The project team was composed of seven people, including one project manager per side.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Since our product’s launch, the sales department has managed to control the information of prospective customers and has increased sales by 30% because of effective management and monitoring.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Our teams worked well together and launched the project on time thanks to the capable oversight by each project manager. Any delays or errors were addressed quickly, and all corrections were integrated into the next version.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They employ a team of skilled technicians, who were critical in our project’s success.
Are there any areas where they can improve?
They need to expand their resources to participate in larger projects.
A crisis response project, speed was a priority during this engagement, and INVID delivered. The team quickly identified talented staff members, impressing both the vendor as well as the health department. Along the way, they were flexible, responsive, and reliable.
