Our company embarked on a partnership with "Interkit" when we had a lack of developers to implement our client's application. We had a task to create an app that could run on both iPhones and Android phones. Our client wanted a modern mobile application that could efficiently meet their diverse needs.

 Our primary aim was to offer easy access to the services provided by their skilled professionals, ensuring a smooth experience for both customers and employees. To accomplish this, we relied on Interkit's expertise in React Native development, which played a crucial role in delivering a user-friendly and convenient solution for our client.

Our aim was to make it easy for people to access our clients services through the app. Here are the main steps we followed: 

• First of all we understood what we wanted the app to do and who would be using it. 
• We also planned out the features and timeline for the project. 
• Then we made the app design simple and easy to use. 

Together with Interkit developers and designers we drew sketches of how the app would look and function. 

In this project we chose React Native so that the app could work on both iPhone and Android. Guys from Interkit also integrated other tools to make the app work better. Then they built the app step by step, adding features like user registration, login, and profile creation. We also connected the app to our backend services to manage data and provide real-time updates.

With the Interkit team we developed and launched app for our client, which has a user-friendly interface and seamless functionality. The app's implementation has led to streamlined business operations, resulting in improved response times, reduced manual effort, and increased efficiency in service delivery. It’s also led to a positive impact on the company's revenue generation through increased service bookings and repeat business. Key Outcomes:

I am project manager of Kompanion Bank for mobile banking program.

For what projects/services did your company hire INTERKIT, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop new mobile application to bring e-wallet and mobile banking experience in one place. Challenge was to smoothly migrate existing e-wallet customers and develop pure banking services from the scratch.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We performed serious analysis to select vendor from 5+ available options. Selection process included not only standard conditions like budget, past projects, developers profiles, but also attitude, understanding of customer needs etc.

We agreed on several milestones to achieve during project. First phase was to develop existing e-wallet functionality, second to prepare designs and workflows for banking services, last but not least to stabilize entire functionality and develop custom functionality like cards, remote identification and so on. Main idea was to develop both versions, iOS and Android, using native technologies and almost same design concepts.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A project manager was assigned from vendor side. We worked closely with 3 frontend developers as one team. No bureaucracy, direct contacts, regular calls and followups.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Project is still running. Marketing and other business development activities are planned and to be executed step by step. The main deliverable as of now is to bring stable application to 100 000+ customers. To achieve that we as a team guaranteed smooth GoLive process with % partial migration of existing customers. Strong UAT and beta test helped us a lot.

Easy communication as if we work in the same team or in the same company. I call this gentlemen style. We agreed on deliverables and both sides did maximum to achieve them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everything seemed to be easy while working with INTERKIT. 20 tickets after testing round? No problems, we will get fixed version in 1 day. Design changes after custdev interview for functionality which was new for bank? Sure, let's do this.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Both bank and company's team have to bring more from best practices of traditional project management. Ready designs and scenarios, detailed release notes and other "paperwork".
