I run a nonprofit organization called SHINE Humanity. We’re registered in the US, and our primary mission is to provide healthcare in rural areas of Pakistan. We have seven clinics running across one of the regions of Pakistan, and we provide free healthcare, medicine, and community outreach.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Intelry Inc.?

We had a rudimentary website, and most of our work depends on donations from people coming across us on social media and through our site. We needed a partner that could help us build a dynamic website with a modern design.

The old website had a simple interface and a homepage that simply told people about our organization and the programs we were running.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Intelry built our new website. It has a dedicated page that helps people navigate the site easily, and it has links to PayPal and local funding options. I also asked them to build a page for our logs and stories, along with patient data and testimonials. 

What is the team composition?

I was in contact with two people from Intelry Inc.

How did you come to work with Intelry Inc.?

They were recommended to me by a friend, who mentioned that Intelry had worked on a website for a large medical nonprofit. I looked at that site, and it ended up being the inspiration for our own page and I wanted something like it for us. Intelry was willing to give us a discount, offering their time and resources as a donation to our cause, which was quite inspiring.

What is the status of this engagement?

I first got in touch with Intelry in March 2020, and we started the initial work in May. At the time, I was busy helping with the COVID-19 crisis, so I didn’t have the time to give them all the information they needed. Because of waiting on me, they only started implementing in June. 

The project’s more or less concluded, and we’re just crossing the t’s and dotting the i's. We launched the site two weeks ago, so the majority of the work was between May–September 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Intelry did a really good job. The website is much better than our previous one.

How did Intelry Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m also based in Pakistan, so we usually talk over WhatsApp and Zoom. The way they communicated with us reflected their respect for the work. They were open to changes even when they thought the work was really good. They always found a middle ground.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve worked with a lot of designers in the past and one thing I learned is that designers are really picky about their work. Past designers could get really irritated if I tell them to change even a tiny detail, but Intelry was really open. They respected the work our organization does and were open to changes. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve had a very good experience with them, and I can’t point out any discrepancies in their work. My advice to them is to remain constant in what they’re doing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Intelry Inc.?

I needed a partner to improve my online presence. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Intelry made several recommendations for advertising on Google and other platforms. They also got me on two other websites, Kijiji and HomeStars. They guided me through the process and were very proficient with Google Ads and SEO.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two team members. One of them is an SEO specialist and the other person was more of a web engineer. They handled the project together.

How did you come to work with Intelry Inc.?

I considered several vendors, but many were too expensive or didn’t have the right portfolios. After searching online, I found Intelry. Their site was quite professional and straightforward, so I gave them a call. Within 10 minutes of our first meeting, I found they really knew what they were doing and had the experience and professionalism I was looking for.

How much have you invested in them?

I have spent under $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I first spoke with them late last year, and they did the website in March 2020. The work is still ongoing. I requested some upgrades which they are presently working on.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Prior to my web presence, I relied on references from previous clients. Since I took their recommendations and got them to build and manage the website for me, I’ve had more than double what I used to get in terms of leads previously. 

They are also currently working to help me fully understand the site, so that I can do a lot of adjustments on my own without having to pay extra to other people.

How did Intelry Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

I would give them 10 out of 10 for project management. I’m very impressed with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re honest with me. They don’t try to hide things or trick me into paying extra money. This wasn’t my first time building a website — I had two other experiences in the past and was very disappointed. I liked that Intelry were very trustworthy with me because I knew from experience what to expect. 

The team was very knowledgeable. They really knew what they were talking about and offered insight and a unique way of doing things.

Are there any areas they could improve?

My expectations surpassed what I asked of them. I really don’t have any issues with them; I think they’ve just been spot on. They were almost like partners in my business rather than a vendor.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just give Intelry a shot and trust them. If you have any particular ideas or opinions, lay it out before them because they know how to do everything and engineer it successfully. Surprisingly, they are not expensive. For the kind of service they gave me, it turned out to be a huge bargain. Trust them and go with whatever they advise.

Unity by Top Notch Scrunchie is a special campaign and product. It’s a symbol of bringing people together, giving back and upcycling. Our campaign was made possible by the donations of creatives across Canada.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Intelry Inc.?

Because of our campaign, Intelry provided me a different rate to get our Shopify website up and running.

I knew I needed a website and knew that I wanted to use Shopify. Having a website would propel me into the market.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The project was about coming together, giving back, and finding a way to reuse and repurpose fabric. I was fortunate enough to have fabric that was donated by Canadian fashion designers, and I worked with a team on the entire project from branding, artwork to social media.

Intelry’s team assisted primarily with the website design and layout. I gave their team a lot of detailed instructions. They actually hadn’t used Shopify before, so this project was new for them.

We went off a document that went back and forth between our teams. Shopify is very thematic, and Intelry’s team added a few custom pieces I asked for.

They added a review button on my shop page to allow reviewers to leave feedback on individual scrunchies. I gave them all of the images and graphics, and I wrote out all of the content. Their team also made image adjustments to ensure they fit well within the site. Overall, they made small tweaks here and there to customize the site.

How did you come to work with Intelry Inc.?

For a marketing company, they don’t do a lot of advertising. I did end up seeing one of their ads.  I looked at other companies in the area, but I wasn’t sure about the quality of work they would deliver. They’ve worked with big organizations and had the right background. Intelry also had more reasonable prices.

How much have you invested with them?

I received a discounted rate and spent under $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in June 2020, and it took about a month to get everything going.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It couldn’t have gone any better. Honestly, I’m fortunate to have found them. I’ve received a lot of positive feedback on the look and functionality of the website. It tells a story through the layout, pictures, and font. I now have a base for future projects I’ll do because I plan on expanding the brand in the future.

Intelry believed in what I was doing. Their team took their time to ensure their work was consistent. They valued what I valued, encouraging and supporting me during our work together.

I’m grateful and blessed to have met their team. I’ll use them again, and I will always refer them. I’m encouraging them to boost their clientele and get more reviews. They made it clear that I could come to them for more services and support.

Throughout the engagement, Intelry’s team was efficient, professional, and detailed. Along with being good at what they do, they were great at communicating.

We used email, text, and phone calls. We also had meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to execute stood out to me. They just got the job done, and they did an excellent job at it.

Intelry also had expertise on branding and strategy. Their team had a lot of feedback for me, which I liked. They have standards of what they believe is important to a brand and conveyed that to me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I just think they need to market themselves better. I don’t have any negative things to say.
