The project's goal was to build a secure and mobile-friendly system for pharmaceutical and biotech companies to manage the distribution of samples. This system ensured compliance with regulations and made it easy for users to buy medications online for pickup at a local pharmacy, all while keeping their data safe. 
We used Python to build the main system, React for the user interface, and Flutter for the mobile app. We stored data in a PostgreSQL database and added security measures like passwords and locks to keep data safe. The project was hosted on AWS.

Our partnership with Insoftex has produced remarkable outcomes. The app they've helped us create has enabled us to provide our users with precise and current market-based pricing information. Moreover, the visual elements on our platform have received positive reviews.

Insoftex successfully revamped the application's backend and API using Node.js, MongoDB and AWS Lambda functions. AWS SAM was used to outline and deploy the application model. The core tasks included geo queries, price updates, graphs generation, notification system as well as other numerous vital components of the service. The vendor had to examine the existing Java code in order to replicate existing functionality of the service.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Seamless transition from the old backend server to the reimplemented API. Further attention was paid to any changes in latency of the crucial API calls.

Technologies used in the project included Python, Django, SQL, and various data analytics tools and libraries for data processing and visualization purposes.

Quick time to market, few bugs, and not a ton of back and forth saving us time to get other features done while Insoftext team was working on enhancing the analytics capabilities of our platform

We communicated via emails, Google Meet, Slack. All tasks were tracked in Trello. Most of their teammembers were located in Ukraine, but the communication was effective and professional.

We had a need for both Front end and Back End development support to further evolve our product as well as a few customer-specific projects.

I found Insoftek via a referral on LinkedIn. The main reason we decided to work with them is they didn't just say they had candidates, they actually presented good quality candidates that meet our requirements. In addition, Michael has been a great experience and we appreciate his open and honest dialogue.

The Insoftek team members worked on both the front end and back end of our platform. The Front end team members are using Angular to implement new features in our UI, and the back-end team members are using GoLang and Typescript to enable the back-end integrations with clients. The Insoftek team members integrated smoothly into our existing sprint teams as extended members of the Azarc team.

We've had roughly 5-6 people from Insoftek working in the areas of Front End Development, Back End Development, as well as Quality Assurance testing.

The team members picked up the technology well and seamlessly integrated into our existing workflows and processes. We were able to increase the velocity of the teams with the addition of the Insoftek team members.

Our client, a product company, created a first version of their product many years ago using now-outdated technologies. Some time ago they asked us to develope a brand new platform that would incorporate existing and new features, modern UI/UX design. Since we didn't have in-house expertise in Energy Management domain we were looking for a partner with appropriate knowledge and engineering resources. After months, our end-client is happy with the cooperation, so we are. Our joined team addresses the most challenging technical issues with IoT, UI/UX design, data streaming, mobile-first design, AI recommendations for energy generation and consumption optimisation, and others

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We contacted several software development vendors and checked their expertise, reviewed past projects, hourly rates. Also we asked to create a UI/UX mockups, and interviewed their developers.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives, project development process and communication channels. We highlighted that we would like Insoftex's team to be a technical decision making, in other words - work more autonomously. From there, the team delivered a solution architecture and overview of the main components. Their team demonstrated progress twice a week. Hence, we were able to regularly discuss new business requirements and changes with our client

While we were able to communicate with every team member a project manager was our main point of contact throughout the process. There were also 2 full-stack full-time developers, a full-time UI/UXdesigner, and one additional part-time designer. We had regular meetings within software development and design streams.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

First of all the new system contains new features demanded on the market, a complitely new UI/UX design and works 40% faster with IoT data streaming processing. The new system is multitenant and can be installed in cloud or on-premise.

Twice a week we had meetings with their project manager, where we discussed important changes in requirements, reviewed regular planning and schedule. We used emails, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Figma, and GitHub. Also as we wanted to be closer to the technical side of the project we had regular calls with the whole team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We appreciate their professional communication and flexibility in adopting changes in requirements. We described issues and they quickly evaluated solution suggestions. Eventually, we were able to clearly communicate the updates to out client. We learnt how to improve performance of such kinds of applications.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

First of all, I would love to have better business requirements from our client, so we will need less code refactoring that required additional testing and fixing iterations. The Agile process helped us to address these changes timely without significant issues.
