A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I own a general pest and termite control company in the Phoenix Valley.
What challenge were you trying to address with Innvio?
Our target market is middle- to upper-class. We want to treat the home of anyone that can afford our services. I stumbled upon Innvio and had good results using them.
What was the scope of their involvement?
For us, Innvio did a brand new website, pay-per-click campaigns, SEO [search engine optimization], and everything else that goes along with all of that. They also did social media and blog articles.
How did you come to work with Innvio?
I was referred by a friend who had used them. He told me that they were cutting-edge and the best in the business, and that's who we wanted to use. After a couple of visits and phone calls with Breynan [Managing Partner, Innvio], we settled on them.
How much have you invested with Innvio?
It ranges from $4,000–$8,000 monthly and $50,000–$80,000 annually.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in January 2015 or around the end of 2014. The work is still ongoing.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We are beyond satisfied. In our first year of using them, our leads tripled. For example, if we had 100 people call us in 2014, 300 people called us in 2015, and what changed was us using Innvio.
If we weren’t getting a positive return on investment, they would have been gone a while ago. We've used about half a dozen agencies before Innvio. Whether they were good or not, I don't really know; I just know that we've not had results like we've had using Innvio. When you talk to guys like Breynan, they want to talk in terms of leads; business owners or corporations want to talk in terms of the bottom line. It’s a business, meaning if you guys are doing your job, then the qualified leads coming in are impacting your revenue and annual sales.
How did Innvio perform from a project management standpoint?
They're responsive, professional, and know what they're doing.
What did you find most impressive about Innvio?
I don't know that I can say enough about them. Many firms profess to be able to get the results, and I'm sure that some of them do, but Breynan really does get the results. They know what they're doing — they're masters of their craft.
I know Breynan personally invests many tens of thousands of dollars in himself, going to different seminars/classes/workshops so that he can stay ahead of the curve. Last week, he talked to me about something that was launched or changed in the SEO world back in January. He made it sound like it was ancient news, and I had no idea even what he was talking about.
Are there any areas Innvio could improve?
When my leads are tripling, I don't have any negative feedback for them. I always want more, but I'm really happy seeing that our leads have tripled.
What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Innvio?
Take Breynan's suggestions. You've got to give them a shot for at least a year. If you make a snap judgment off the first, second, or third month of performance, that's going to be a bad call. Some of those campaigns take that much time for you to start seeing results. If they've not changed the bottom line and a number of leads, then use someone else, but if you stick with them, you'll be happy with the results that you're getting.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the director of marketing for a heating, cooling and plumbing company in the Phoenix area.
What challenge were you trying to address with Innvio?
They helped us put together an SEO program. We are on a growth pattern, so we’re trying to increase our business by about $12 million this year.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve been working with them for a while on SEO and digital marketing in general. They set us up with reputation management, which has been awesome. They’ve also set us up with pay-per-click (PPC), re-targeting, email marketing, automation. They help us run and manage the digital presence. The original design for our website was done by another company, but they made additions and changes to that design.
How did you come to work with Innvio?
We went through an interview process. We looked at several companies, trying to find what was best for us. Innvio had very good referrals with good conversion rates. I liked the way their websites were built. That’s what helped us lean toward them.
How much have you invested with Innvio?
Including PPC, for which we are paying Google directly, we’re probably paying $65,000 to $75,000 per month in digital marketing.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together a long time ago, but I don’t remember the month or year. Our relationship is ongoing.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
For the years that we’ve been with them, we’ve averaged 35% growth. We also track qualified leads and conversation rates, but I don’t know those numbers.
What did you find most impressive about Innvio?
They’re very customer-friendly, which is a big deal. They’re very responsive, and they’re good at steering us toward things that might be better without telling us what to do.
Are there any areas Innvio could improve?
I could always use more calls that lead to more sales.
What advice or suggestions would you give to their future clients to be successful?
Clients should be prepared to communicate upfront about their expectations and goals. If Innvio understands what you’re looking for, they’ll more effectively get you to where you want to be.
Innvio’s expertise and involvement have resulted in a tripling in the number of leads in only a year’s time. The team stays ahead of technology and stands out by being responsive and professional. Potential clients should be patient and give some time to see results and realize a significant ROI.
