BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the owner and CEO of Metro-Tech Erectors Corp. We’re a respected market leader in the commercial and industrial window installation space. Based in the New York tri-state area, we offer customized solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential window and facade installation projects.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Innovatica?

Initially, we hired Innovatica to create a complete brand identity (e.g., logo design, brand visuals, website development) to boost our online presence. But, after some recommendations from their project manager, we expanded the scope to include developing a customer engagement platform.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to improve our online presence through a new brand identity. During this process, we learned how technology can help facilitate our daily operations, so our current goal is to create a custom customer engagement platform.

How did you select this vendor?

They had done another project for us and proved to be very professional. We were also satisfied with the results, so we decided to reach out to them again for our branding needs.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

After researching our company values, goals, competitors, and other important insights, Innovatica recommended the direction for our brand identity. We agreed on their suggestions, and they proceeded to design a new logo along with a modern serverless and static website.

Since launching the site, they’ve started to work on our customer engagement platform. Some of the core functionalities will include: the capacity to share important files, documents, and drawings with our clients and business partners; manage approvals; and submit and manage proposals. The development is ongoing.

What was the team composition?

The team consists of UX/UI graphic designer, a frontend developer, a backend developer, and a project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We’re still working on our platform, but we can already tell that it will make our daily operations much easier. Since the website is up and running, it performs great, and we constantly receive positive feedback. Innovatica’s team makes sure that all is working well, implementing the necessary updates and changes on time. They are always well-focused on their tasks, which proves that they were the correct choice.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Communication with the team is smooth. The project manager is always available and highly responsive, and we often get in touch over the phone. We use Slack to communicate; InVision to upload, preview, and comment on the designs; and Jira to track tasks.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Innovatica demonstrates full engagement, professionalism, and solid technical knowledge. What’s more, their commitment is outstanding. They’ve now provided exceptional design and functionalities for two of our projects. We find them to be highly reliable in terms of consultation, management, and development. I would recommend them for any digital challenge with no hesitations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

From our experience so far, I don’t think there are any areas for improvement. We are very happy with the results and progress that we’ve made.
