The challenge

Keeping customers happy is challenging when you have to deliver hundreds of houses every week. Deeds registration is a manual process that consumes time sometimes too much time that could be the difference between a happy or angry customer, not t

mention the operational cost involved it error occurred.  How do we speed up this process without sacrificing security and compliance?

The solution

We built a deeds registration platform fully secure where Public Notaries collect digital copies of customers files to collate these files and if the file is eligible then issue the Deeds registration integrated with SAP.

Notaries have to access to the platform using a multifactor login technology which verifies user, password, dynamic password and the authorized GPS location of where the notary is trying to access from all military grade encrypted.

Once logged, Notaries have access to the customer’s expedient assigned to each of them to issue its Deeds. Here Notaries can review all documents attached to each expedient and can add new documents generated.

Once the expedient is done and ready to registration, the notary has to capture their dynamic password or security token as a digital signature. This generates automatically a new PO in SAP.

Every year $25.7+ billion USD cross the border just Mexico as remittance transfers. This a huge market, however, sending money back home to support family and friends is tedious and expensive. This is the say of several people working in the USA. Money transfers are done from people to people, How do we make money transfers become more human?

The Solution

Born in our innovation lab, we

built a people to people money transfer platform that uses the blockchain. In our research we discovered sending money is always around a conversation people started on their phone. This is why we build a custom keyboard instead of just an app to transfer money.

This platform enables customers to create a profile where the sender can fund their transactions using their credit or debit card or even fund their account at CVS Pharmacies or 7-Eleven with cash through our partnership with pay nearme.  While receivers get the funds in a Mexican prepaid debit card  ('Saldazo' card).

When transferring the money, the platform uses the sender’s funds to perform a microtransaction in the blockchain and cross the border as a cryptocurrency and then deposited in the receiver’s card. The receiver receives their money in minutes at the price of one tiny and flat fee.

Mexico to empower their employees with a mobile physical inventory counting solution integrated with their SAP system and terminals Zebra MC 3300 running Android.

Employees can log in the terminal app using their SAP credentials and from the generate new counting documents.

Some warehouses have no network connectivity, not a problem. The mobile solution allows the employee to work offline and perform all counting with no network access. Once the employee has network connectivity they just synchronized the terminal wirelessly using Wifi.

The user interface was designed for high performance, employees can use either the touchscreen or physical buttons in their terminal alike depending on their convenience.

We tried to build this project with other vendor months ago with terrible results. So the first thing that we considered part of the value we got was that they delivered on time and the way they delivered was a positive surprise for our team.

INMEDIATUM helped us to build our dream, from the proof of concept all the way up to full product development. We started with a small pilot test to get some investors onboard, so we worked with INMEDIATUM to have a functional prototype. Based on the result and after our first funding round, we decided to move forward with them and iterate a few more times until the first market was release ready.

In 5 years we had multiple goals, but I'd say the most important were: Concept validation, full product development, growth and acquisition

How did you select this vendor?

It took us about four months to decide which vendor to work with. We had a rigid vendor selection process that started with an RFP, then a set of interviews and references in the industry. INMEDIATUM went through this process fulfilling the expectations of our teams: Financial, legal/compliance, and technical team

INMEDIATUM helped us to build our mobile apps for Android and iPhone, backend systems, and all the integration with our core baking systems, reporting tools, voice-enabled app for Amazon echo, and Alexa. They also did our marketing automation platform.

The project had multiple stages. First, we wanted to validate our concept, so INMEDIATUM help us to build a set of rapid prototypes and eventually a POC that help us a lot get our first investors onboard. Then, we needed to bring to life our mobile bank. Our parent company was an expert in building brands and business, but we didn't have too much experience with technology. It required a lot of effort to put all pieces together, from the licenses and regulations to getting investors and third-party vendors to build our digital company. 

We weren't a big team at the time, but we need to fulfill the growing customer-base we had, so INMEDIATUM helped us to build a web-based business intelligence tool integrated with our CRM and banking systems to get deep insights of our customer's behavior. Last but not least, to grow, we needed an operation ready to scale, so INMEDIATUM helped us automate our customer funnel and marketing options, building complex APIs to integrate over 16 different platforms and a web dashboard where we could orchestrate everything.

What was the team composition?

Along the way, we got multiple teams working with INMEDIATUM, depending on the stage of our platform. We started with a small team of one project manager, one mobile developer and one backend engineer and eventually it was formed by three project managers, mobile development, eight engineers, two web engineers four backend engineers, two solution architects and two UX designers, one cloud architect, and two product managers.

We trust INMEDIATUM because they deliver on time and they are able to deliver an entire solution from A-Z. They helped us to build a profitable company through technological innovation, from the concept to the full operations. The most significant outcomes I'd say: Get our first funding round due to awesome prototypes. Get our first 1,000 paid customers after launch. Enabling to grow our team reach by 7X saving us thousands of dollars.

I’m the CEO of Bizkroma Creative Agency. We produce content, strategy, and consulting and creative solutions for communication needs.

As a creative agency, we needed a website that communicated our image and quality of work.

We wanted to replace our current website, which was old, boring and not mobile responsive.

A friend of mine recommended them to us. We considered several companies, but INMEDIATUM had a crystal-clear understanding of our needs.

INMEDIATUM combined their own creativity and expertise with our need for a website that was more than just a source of information. 

What was the team composition?

They assigned a project coordinator to be in charge of our website development. The coordinator directed the rest of INMEDIATUM's team including a UX designer and several graphic designers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We now have a website that portrays us exactly how we want our clients to perceive us. Not only does it look excellent, but it works well too. INMEDIATUM enriched our initial idea with their own vision and sensibilities.

They were constantly available and answered every question we asked them. Personable and professional, they taught us a lot, especially about how valuable a website can be.
