Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior portfolio manager at a medical company. We manufacture medical devices.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Infuse Digital Agency?
There were two major functions that we leveraged Infuse Digital for. One of them included marketing and sales collateral development, such as animations, a sales-type customer interface, and a sales sheet.
Additionally, we needed to take a lot of information and get it into a consolidated format for our sales team to use to share content with potential, existing, and future customers.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Infuse Digital has created animations that depict the technical elements of our product and integrated clinical or anatomical applications where our product is used. There’s a strong synergy between the technological world of medical devices and the complicated world of clinical anatomy with different pathology and states, including fine neuro schools, general surgery, liver type, deformity, and decompression work.
They’ve also developed and implemented a sales application. It’s a specific app that works on Android and iOS devices. The app allows our sales team to communicate our products and value propositions with customers and send information to an app called “sales, talk, track”. It also integrates a library that includes information, forms, documentation, and studies. All of that can be shared with the touch of a finger via email or phone message.
Infuse Digital also manages our website. They’ve helped us with the structure layout, made changes if necessary, and uploaded content.
What is the team composition?
We work with 2–3 people on the project, but we’ve also interacted with 5–10 people. We have partners, project managers, and designers.
How did you come to work with Infuse Digital Agency?
We found Infuse Digital searching online. We chose them because they were straight to the point and listened to what we had to say. Infuse Digital wasn’t pushy on selling things, and they also gave us very reasonable price points.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $50,000–$100,000. We’re a small med-tech company in the pool of med-tech companies. Infuse Digital acknowledges and appreciates that we have cost constraints in our business and still accommodate our needs without compromising quality.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our partnership began in May 2017 and is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The tools my sales team are using every single day are results of what Infuse Digital has done. My team wouldn’t be able to go out and sell as effectively without these tools. I can say the tools are driving a lot of our sales, but I can’t put a specific statistic to it.
On the other hand, the sales app runs flawlessly, and we don’t have issues on that front. The app is very helpful on the backend because it’s able to track when the documents are viewed or shared. We have strong analytics on the backend, which helps our company determine if historically created collateral or content is being used. This includes what type of information is most helpful for our sales team, allowing us to generate more impactful tools for them.
We had challenges before Infuse Digital came in with video content, website speed, and bugs. They have creative ways to store the files and content differently, which has allowed the website to speed up and be more dynamic and fluid. As a result, we’ve never had a problem with the animations, the products, or the services.
How did Infuse Digital Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate through email and video conference calls via Zoom. I’ve also gone to their facility a few times to meet with their engineers and fast-track tasks. We’ve made real-time changes on the fly in instances where we’ve really needed to expedite projects.
The project managers are extremely communicative and clear with great follow-up, meeting notes, and action items. We know who is on each task and what is the leading task on the project. If their team is waiting for information from our company, they don’t sit around and wait for us. The project management team makes sure to track the progress of the project and remind us if a piece is still needed to proceed.
In terms of feedback, Infuse Digital’s responsiveness is unmatched to any of the vendors we’ve worked with. It doesn’t matter the day or hour; their team responds to calls and messages. There have been times where our website crashes, and I get communication from Infuse Digital’s team before my team. They’ve fixed those crashes in one hour.
From a project standpoint, Infuse Digital performs fantastically. They’re always on time and sometimes ahead of schedule. They don’t buffer things unrealistically to look like heroes. We give them immensely tight deadlines, and they hold them well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Infuse Digital’s speed and quality are key differentiating factors from other providers. Their understanding, knowledge, and appreciation of anatomy and clinical applications are very strong. That allows them to do great work.
Infuse Digital is extremely on top of their customer relationships and products. They take great pride in what they do. They don’t send something in partially completed because they’re pushing for perfection and delivering with incredible speed. It’s rare to find companies that push the pace and keep the quality. That’s something that Infuse Digital brings to the market, and many other people struggle with balancing.
Infuse Digital is also proactive in terms of preventing issues or challenges — they give us heads-up to get ahead of those two aspects. They’ve seen and have a strong background in people that bring valuable ideas and contribute to projects. They’re very helpful and beneficial from that side of the business.
The conversation with Infuse Digital isn’t one-way, which I really appreciate. They add value and share their past experiences in an effort to drive better products and outcomes. Additionally, their team is very human, I know their families and kids’ names. We’ve gone out together for holidays and have lunch together frequently as well. It has been a nice experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have a thing Infuse Digital could have done differently. Every experience with them has been fantastic.
Any advice for potential customers?
In the beginning, take the time to teach their team about how you are as a company, including your products. We were very forthcoming with our expectations and company information. We explained all our products to Infuse Digital, how they work, and why people like them. This allows their project management team and engineers to go faster in the long run.
