Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a general sales manager for Furnika which produces furniture and lighting. We sell many products and cooperate with big furniture manufacturers as well as individual clients. We started 10 years ago, and have been growing every year.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with InfiniteProgress?
We wanted to develop our relationship with our customers who asked for new solutions for their light fixtures. We decided to create Bluetooth enabled app controllers for our lights. We wanted a company from Poland to develop the app.
We also wanted to have software for our sales department and decided on InfiniteProgress’ product named TradeAssistant.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Originally we organized a meeting and they were open to visit us. We talked about how to build the application. Then I visited them, so I could see their company and team.
Our app allows users to control their lights when they connect the Bluetooth controller with our products. Users can control the amount and color of the light. The app is built for both iOS and Android.
What is the team dynamic?
I was in contact with one person from the company. This was the best set up for me.
How did you come to work with InfiniteProgress?
I have a friend who works in a big software company in Poland, and he told me about InfiniteProgress. I contacted them, and they were flexible and open. I had a meeting with three or four different companies and there was always something that was not so good. With InfiniteProgress, I didn’t have any bad feelings so I decided on them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $10,000 and $20,000.

We worked with them from August 2016 to February 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The Bluetooth controller is a new product in our company which we sell, but we need more time to work on it. We gave some samples to our customers for them to check it out. We have feedback from our customers that the app and product are okay. In the future, the app should be helpful for us.
The CRM product, TradeAssistant, helps us to organize the work in our team. I am responsible for three people in my company, and I have more time since we started to use this product.
How did InfiniteProgress perform from a project management standpoint?
They are very open. When I started to talk with them from my first conversation, I had a good feeling. They understood what I wanted. If I didn’t know how to say it, they tried to find solutions for me and they were flexible. If I wanted to change something, it wasn’t a problem for them. I hope in the future I will have more business partners like them because the cooperation was, and still is, very good. We communicated by email and phone after our first meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The first conversation was a good conversation. They understood what I wanted, and they were very flexible. When I saw their office, they are a young, friendly team, but very professional. My contact with them has been very open and friendly, and they understand me. They listen and that’s why we decided to cooperate with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t know how it will be in future, but for me now everything was almost perfect.

I’m the team leader of research and development at ProLogistica Soft. We’re a software company aiming to forecast demand and optimize inventory.

What challenge were you trying to address with InfiniteProgress?
We mostly have experts in statistics and mathematics and inventory optimization logistics in-house. We don’t have many software developers and needed help with developing our software.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Our software has two components. First is its logic, which mostly contains some statistical algorithms and logistics. The other part is the user interface. Infinite worked on both parts. We used Java as our application server and our database is Oracle. For the user interface, we used a framework called eRCP.

The maximum amount of people working with us was 4. We’ve always had 1 main contact person.

The leader of Infinite is a former colleague of one of our employees.
