Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the financial controller of a natural gas utility. We're a small, technology-driven company with a custom CRM and billing system.

For what projects/services did your company hire Infinet Services?

After downsizing, we hired a third party to transition our servers and network to the cloud and continuously manage the environment.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to move our servers off-premises and dispose of our physical assets. We also sought a reliable, dedicated helpdesk solution that cost less than an onsite IT infrastructure.

How did you select this vendor?

After other providers didn't deliver the quality we expected, we began seriously interviewing and vetting other companies. We decided that a smaller vendor with a passion for serving clients and streamlining expenditures was more valuable than high-tech promises.

Infinet Services immediately began streamlining our convoluted network configuration. They successfully transitioned us to a voiceover IP telephone solution. They also implemented an excellent desktop solution that far exceeded our expectations for timeliness and ease of use. They make small improvements each month to keep us up and running.

What was the team composition?

The team includes an account manager, who ensures that our voice is always heard and that issues are dealt with expeditiously, along with a senior technician who oversees all work and support agents who we can reach at the click of a button.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After one year of working with Infinet Services, our network has become noticeably more stable and our IT costs have decreased by 24%. They lowered our annual cost by decreasing our cloud footprint. If our network connectivity has a problem, they know before we do and start correcting it within minutes.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Infinet is highly responsive and eager to address issues. They stay aware of issues and correct them before we notice them. Their team is friendly and professional. They have great rapport with everyone in our office, from the support staff to the CEO.
