Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and director of Pisarto Online Art Gallery. Our vision is to build a digital ecosystem for artists and art lovers. Art as a product category is still looked at as something aspirational. As a result, we want to make art accessible. For the longest time, paintings and artworks are confined mostly to the four walls of traditional art galleries. We have taken the digital-first approach and wish to democratize art.

What challenge were you trying to address with Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd?

We were a very new organization and we were trying to build a brand for ourselves with minimum spending contrary to what some other startups do who were heavily funded. We wanted to ensure that our brand was built the frugal way with significant organic reach. On top of that, we were in a space that traditionally required people to be present in physical form. In connection with that, our company was fully online and wanted to change the buying behavior of customers.  

As a result, we asked Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd’s help so that we could identify what we needed to do to establish our online presence. Since they were one of the biggest names in the SEO space with significant experience with some of the big e-commerce companies as their clients, we wanted to leverage their expertise as consultants and share with us some of the best practices we could follow.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They mainly provide SEO services but, in our case, they also acted as consultants and did some amount of digital marketing. Their work includes optimizing our website, adding content, researching potential keywords, and ensuring we ranked at the top from an SEO perspective. Here in India, the keywords aren’t easily available so they did a lot of research to identify the keywords that had significant volumes and focused on that. We're using Google Ads in this project.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with 3–4 core members from Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd including their founder, project manager, and digital marketing lead. We also collaborate with 6–7 additional individuals based on the tasks on hand.

How did you come to work with Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd?

Almost 15 years ago, Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd’s founder worked with me. He was a part of my team for a few years and then he moved to different organizations. I was following his career path because he was one of the brighter members of my team. I figured out there were some large companies in India who had trusted their accounts with him, and he was managing those accounts exceptionally from an SEO perspective. I knew that he was very capable in his space so I reached out to him and asked if he would be able to work on our project.

He mostly works with established mature brands that have been in the industry for a decade or more. Even though our company was more of a startup, he agreed that he’d give our project a shot. On our side, we said we’d try working with him for a few months to see where we would go. Fortunately, after 3–4 months, we saw that we were moving in the right direction so we continued partnering with their team.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started collaborating with them around June 2019, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For us, there are three important metrics in figuring out if they’re delivering well: identifying our click shares, organic session volume, and keyword ranking. They’ve been quite the trendsetters in these metrics and have allowed us to be on the top.

In the last couple of months, we’re in the top two in terms of click share. The difference between us and the company that is ahead of us is just 0.5% and that organization has been in existence for 12 years. On the other hand, for organic sessions, we’ve seen an exponential jump in the last few months from where we started. Lastly, for keyword ranking, we have more than 450 words that rank within the top 10. The most important word in our industry is painting, and we rank on top for that keyword.

How did Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd has been brilliant; their project manager and the team always come prepared before our calls. Everyone knows what needs to be done and what needs to be answered. I seldom hear that they’ll get back to us because they always have the answers to all our questions. The minutes from the meeting come to us half an hour after the call ends. If there are follow-ups needed, they’re on top of it. 

I find Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd very proactive, and their project management is phenomenal. We have weekly scheduled calls on Google Hangouts. For the monthly dashboard, they share their PowerPoints with us. They also have files on Google Docs which contain their plan for the month and what they’ve achieved in the previous month.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their work quality has been impressive, and they deliver far more than they promise. On top of that, they understand what they’re doing, what trends are existing, and what needs to be done to increase our ranking. Most importantly, they communicate extremely well. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I feel they need to continue doing what they are doing. The team is great and always a pleasure to interact with.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You should surely work with Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd. They can bring a new dimension to your SEO journey and accelerate your path to success. Having said that you need to have a dedicated team working with them for faster and better results. You also need to have a well-articulated objective as to what you're looking to achieve through SEO in the engagement process — may it be increasing your traffic, building your brand, or raising your conversion.

We were working with another SEO company, but we were at the point of growth where we needed more expert advice. We needed someone who specialized in e-commerce.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In terms of SEO, their team works on a few projects with us. The first project occurred after we merged with our biggest competitor. We didn’t see the advantages we expected from that merger. Their team maximized our SEO by redirecting best practices on the technical side.

We worked with them on genderless pages. They identified the right keywords that we were ranking for in South Africa. In another project, we also implemented a few tech solutions to accelerate our SEO.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with three. There’s one account manager we speak with regularly, and he has two people that help him with reports and in other areas.

How did you come to work with Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd?

We were searching for new SEO consultants to replace our previous. After researching, we found that Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd’s CEO previously worked at an e-commerce company with top-class SEO. We approached them and asked if they would start working with us.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend about $5,200 a month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with their team in March 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re analytical and technical. We’re still reaping the benefits from their work. We have continuous feedback sessions, weekly calls, and a Slack channel. If anything urgently pops up, they’re super responsive. The team provides us with weekly and monthly performance reports. They also make suggestions on how we can improve the site’s speed.

How did Infidigit Consultants Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Along with our weekly meetings and Slack channel, we have working sheets for our teams. They were quite lenient to what we wanted and were respectable to our other projects outside of SEO.

The way our team prioritizes projects is by determining the potential impact. We had to consider their suggestions about the project against other projects. They provided us an accurate assessment, respecting how our internal processes work.

We also have a technical tracker. Any time they have a new project or improvement idea, their team adds them proactively. We then discuss them during our weekly calls to make sure we’re aligned.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their technical capabilities are advanced.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we’ve never had a bad experience with them. Their team is always positive and humorous. We’ve developed a great relationship.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You need to have dedicated resources for developers. They’re very tech-focused. If you don’t have the resources to implement their ideas and strategies, then the partnership likely won’t be beneficial.
