I’m the president of Organizational Compass. We help entrepreneurs with their businesses.
What challenge were you trying to address with Inbound Ignited?
I wanted assistance with website development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
My website was outdated, and I was worried it could become a deterrent for potential clients. Inbound Ignited built me a brand new website that included several calls to action and a blog. They built the new site in Squarespace as that was the platform I’d used for my original site.
Their team also introduced me to HubSpot to help manage my clients.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Craig (President). There were additional team members working on the project, but I only spoke to Craig.
How did you come to work with Inbound Ignited?
I was introduced to them by a mutual friend.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on the website from February-March 2020. It took about two months.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The site has been climbing up in the rankings. Additionally, I’ve gotten positive feedback from users of the site. I’m also writing weekly blog posts and sharing them on LinkedIn. I get 300-500 views on each post.
How did Inbound Ignited perform from a project management standpoint?
Their performance was excellent. Their team delivers on time, and often, they're ahead of me. We primarily communicated via phone, email, and Zoom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The knowledge Craig and his team possess is impressive. I really enjoyed working with them, and I’m looking forward to working with them in the future on additional projects like SEO and website development for my other company.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for an appraisal management company called United States Appraisals. We operate nationwide as the go-between for lenders and appraisers. I’m the sales and marketing support employee. I help the sales team with various administrative things and guide our marketing efforts.
What challenge were you trying to address with Inbound Ignited?
The goal was to have someone inhouse to act as the go-between between marketing and sales efforts. We wanted to focus on our branding and implement more concerted marketing efforts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We redid our logo shortly before we brought them on. When we brought them on, they redid our booth. Their graphic designer used our logo to put together the whole booth. They’ve also done a new brochure, both digital and print.
We also started email marketing campaigns and blogs with them. We’re using HubSpot for a lot of those services.
How did you come to work with Inbound Ignited?
Our company wanted someone inhouse to monitor our marketing efforts and work with our outside marketing company. There were few that were willing to do that, but Inbound Ignited was more than willing to help. They appreciated our approach and idea.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January of 2019, and we’re still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Using them last year, we brought on more clients than we ever have in one year. Inbound has gotten articles published, and we’ve had people contact us as a result of that. We’ve had a higher number of companies reach out to us and inquire about our services than before.
Feedback on their design work has been really positive, and our internal board really liked it. Also, they’ve done a great job of showing us exactly how to use HubSpot, including all the ins and outs of what it can do.
How did Inbound Ignited perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication has always been great with their team. They’re always quick to respond; we have a private Slack channel where we communicate. If I need an update on something, I typically don’t have to ask.
We started using Trello for project management, which has been great. They’ve been good about putting comments there so I know exactly which phase they’re in within each stage of the project. They always check in with me to ask about deadlines, and they give me clear deadlines whenever they need something from me.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their knowledge of our industry sets them apart. They understand the quirks and the different approach that the lending industry requires. They’ve done a great job of meeting our custom expectations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything they should have done differently.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. They’re more than willing to explain their suggestions. Also, if you have any ideas, tell them about it. They are very open to different approaches. They will definitely guide and give their opinions on best practices, but they’ll never push their thoughts versus yours.

I’m president and CEO of Elite Digital Advisors, which is a consulting company that focuses on helping lenders navigate from a paper to an electronic world.
What challenge were you trying to address with Inbound Ignited?
They’ve helped me with a number of things, including the selection of my CRM and a few marketing tasks. The responsibilities grew over time.
What was the scope of their involvement?
While I’ve been running companies for 30 years, I’m not particularly technical. He’s been helping me address the more technical parts of my company with a smile.
Craig (Owner, Inbound Ignited) helped me bring my website to the next level by creating some marketing collateral and engaging in promotions work. He is also responsible for introducing me to my CRM, which is core to my business now.
Over the course of our relationship, he’s connected me opportunities outside of his responsibility. For instance, he got me included on a panel at a symposium that ended up being critical for my business. He offered up the opportunity after we had gotten to know each other, and I generated considerable revenue from it.

We started working together in February 2019, and the collaboration is going.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Often, I get comments about my website and marketing material. Users and potential customers alike are responding well to my deliverables. We aren’t tracking them with hard metrics, but all the feedback that’s been shared has been positive.
How did Inbound Ignited perform from a project management standpoint?
With most agency partnerships, it’s my responsibility to reschedule meetings and get things back on track when I fall behind. There have been a few times where I’ve had to miss meetings with Craig, but he makes sure to follow up with me. His attitude is critical to getting the project back on track. It’s his goal to make sure I’m happy with the results, so he takes on responsibilities that not every company would.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Craig has a great attitude. This isn’t just business to him, it’s a true partnership. He’s very interested in his customer base and has made himself available to us whenever we’re in an urgent need. Sometimes, agencies fall short of putting the customer first. That was never the case with Inbound Ignited. He offered everything I needed and more in terms of customer service.
Sometimes, he doesn’t even charge for extras added to the project midway through. I refer people to his business to affirm that he’s a high-quality professional.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
He’s an excellent choice because he’s good at what he does. It’s not easy to trust others in the business world today, but I have confidence in him.
As a result of Inbound Ignited’s work, the client has seen an improvement in their search rankings. They’ve also received positive feedback on the new site. The team at Inbound Ignited has excellent project management and can be trusted to deliver high-quality work.
