**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the marketing manager of an e-commerce platform. We import product and commercialize food products.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Imagine Apps?

We needed help with web and mobile app development.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Imagine Apps developed our website and mobile app for both Android and iOS.  The app is an e-commerce B2B and B2C channel where people can buy our products. We have a variety of food products, including chicken, pork, cheese, potatoes, vegetables, etc.

They also help us in digital advertising in order to promote the app on the website.

What is the team composition?

I work with a team of 8-10 people from Imagine Apps. We have a project lead who is also in charge of marketing.

How did you come to work with Imagine Apps?

We went with them because they have very good prices and they’re very professional. From the beginning, the process was very clear. They have a good structure for design and development. For price and quality, they’re the best solution for us.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested over $500,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2018 and its ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Imagine Apps did a very good job. The app is easy to use, and we have a number of downloads and sales. We also have a significant number of users. Their service has had a positive impact on our business. We are able to easily access all metrics through a dashboard

How did Imagine Apps perform from a project management standpoint?

They are good at meeting deadlines. The team is organized and structured.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Imagine Apps is very perceptive of the market. The team is heavily involved in the industry and helps us to grow. They study our industry in order to provide us with better ideas.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve had a very good experience with them. They do a really good job, however, they could improve in the marketing area. Imagine Apps is not as strong in this area as they are in development, but they still do a good job. They could make the budget more efficient than we have in marketing and digital advertising.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re a good option. They have the ability of perspective. Regardless of their age, they’re professional.

#### Mobile App Dev for Financial Investment Advisor Company
**The Project**
- Services: Mobile App Development
- Project size: $10,000 to $49,999
- Project length: May 2020 - Ongoing

**Project Summary**: Because of the lack of an in-house team, an investment advisor company hired Imagine Apps to develop their mobile application for iOS and Android. The app helps users invest in managed portfolios. It is live.

**Review Rating**: 4.0

Product Analyst, Insight Investments
- Industry: Financial services

- Client size: 11-50 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Feb 15, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: The app has been live for over six months. The team at Imagine Apps is skilled, responsive, and hardworking. While their time estimations could improve, their team is interested in their clients' goals.
""Imagine Apps has a very good team."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the product analyst at Insight Investments, a registered investment advisor company.

It currently offers investment advisory to Latin American users. All the service is provided using technology. It’s a mobile app that users can download. They can choose the risk they want to take. We have some algorithms integrated with a broker in the US, and the execution is automated.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Imagine Apps?

We needed someone to develop our mobile app since we don’t have a team in-house.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Imagine Apps developed our mobile app for iOS and Android. Users can invest in a managed portfolio. We have different risk levels.

For example, the user can choose on the app that they want to invest in a 7 out of 10 risk portfolio. They can then invest their money with that risk. The other product is single touch. It’s like a brokerage.

Users can go on Apple and say they want to invest in Apple. They can see how much has been the return of that stock and also of portfolio stocks. We’re planning to launch some more features. For example, if they want to transfer money from their bank to our app.

Right now, they’re helping connect us with some APIs of external people. We have more features to help us understand how those APIs work and what the architecture will need to have in our app and backend.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with six different people. The team included the CEO, a designer, a product owner, two developers, and one other person.

How did you come to work with Imagine Apps?

The CEO went to the same university as I did. We talked to a couple of other companies, but we preferred Imagine Apps because people spoke well about their work. Their price was also lower.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $15,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Imagine Apps started in May 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app went live in July 2020.

How did Imagine Apps perform from a project management standpoint?

We have weekly meetings to talk about how it’s going and monthly ones to go over better plans. We have quarterly meetings in which we measure all the KPIs. If something’s not going well, we try to put different metrics or anything to improve our process with them.

We use spreadsheets and Google Meet. They used Jira, but we preferred just a spreadsheet. We use Slack to communicate. They sometimes estimate the time. It takes more time than they initially thought it was going to take.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Imagine Apps has a very good team. They’re intelligent and hardworking.

What we do isn’t easy. For example, we had some developers before who weren’t interested in understanding what they were doing. Many things didn’t go well. Imagine Apps are interested in what we’re doing. They do their research.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their time estimations.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Try to have a clear idea of what you want so you can communicate it as effectively as possible. If you’re not clear enough, you’ll lose time and money.
