Created in 2002, Baan Dek Foundation (BDF) is a Thai-registered Foundation with a mission to provide access to education, health and safety services for vulnerable children living in urban slums and construction site camps in Thailand.
For what projects/services did your company hire iglu, and what were your goals?
We hired IGLU to improve and develop the mobile application Digital Superheroes Academy. It is a game where kids learn life skills, in the form of superpowers! From Baan Dek Foundation, and winner of MIT Solve's Award for Social Innovation, Digital Superheroes Academy teaches children living in Thailand, or planning to migrate to Thailand, critical thinking, life skills, and soft skills; all in the form of fun ‘superpowers’!
The life skill lessons and games in this application are currently available in English, Thai, Thai Yai, and Burmese languages.

IGLU has been working with Baan Dek Foundation (BDF) on BDF's Digital Superheroes Academy mobile app. The app teaches critical thinking, life skills, and soft skills, all in the form of fun "superpowers," to vulnerable children living in Thailand. To support the development of the app, IGLU provided technical skills, development assistance, and maintenance support.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Thanks to IGLU, the app has been published and is available on the Google Play Store, allowing BDF to provide many children with essential knowledge.

our company is providing SMS service to operators, SMS aggregators and enterprise customers. I'm managing the operation.
For what projects/services did your company hire iglu?
we need a customer care to help customers register senderID with operators.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Iglu has an easy on-boarding process to hire local talent, I found them on google search.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
telecom operators are applying firewalls to filter SMS spam, therefore in order to submit A2P SMS, all brands need to register senderID with the operators. We need someone to process requests from customers and submit requests to operators, and feedback result to customers. This is a tedious work and the person need to be attentive and followup with many requests in the same time.

We are happy with the person we hired for customer care, it helps a lot for our company's business

we are using slack and email to communicate, we have internal ticketing system to track requests from customers.

iglu is very responsive to our requests, and hiring local talent is a very cost-effective solution.
