I'm the CMO of BookGroup, which is a tech-education startup. Our initial offering out in the market is a library for kids based on analytics, and it gives a very personalized experience for each reader. We track each reader's reading level reading progress, and we recommend books based on their interest. We're looking at introducing more products in the market, and we are currently working on getting funding for our next initiative.

We hired Iffort to offer website development services for our company; we had a placeholder website initially, but that was very basic.

Iffort designed and developed our website from scratch. They've offered a wide range of website-related services, from hosting development to maintenance. We've also held a competition where they helped us with enhancements to our website.

We provided them with documentation to work with, including a wireframe of how we wanted the website to be presented and developed. In terms of the design, development, and the presentation of all the information was all their work. 

In addition to that, they've done some on-page SEO optimization based on our requirements.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We started tracking customer traffic only after this website went up, and we've noticed two things. One is that the website successfully demonstrated our brand's value and the justification for a premium pricing that we wanted to convey to the consumer. Secondly, we got fewer queries regarding the pre-enrollment process because customers could process the information and navigate more intuitively on the site.

Overall the bounce rate reduced after the website came up. All those parameters indicate that the website was working in our favor.

They work as a partner, making us feel like they're an extended team. They also respond quickly, work diligently, deliver great work, and grasp the brief quickly.

In terms of communication, we use email, phone calls, Google Meet, and video calls.

It’s important as an agency to get your aesthetic sensibilities right. Equally important is that the agency is able to develop the creative to deliver on the brand and communication objectives. I have noticed in the case of Iffort that they also use the same filters in the creative delivery process.

People tend to get in a silo, and not branch out. For example, testers do testing, and developers do developing. When bottlenecks occur, it is nice when people step out of their silo to help others.
