I’m the CEO of Storyous, a startup cloud-based restaurant technology platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with iDevBand?

We needed their team to develop our mobile application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

iDevBand developed our native food ordering mobile app natively for iOS and Android using Java Android, Swift, and Ruby. Additionally, they designed our platform's UI before implementing it into our backend. Their team integrated features that allowed users to order food from restaurants and schedule these for pickup once completed.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two resources from iDevBand for this project: Vojtech (President) and a developer who also served as our project manager.

How did you come to work with iDevBand?

Apart from being recommended by a friend, we also found their profile online after searching for potential development partners. We chose their team for their valuable experience and reasonable pricing for their services.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent $180,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in January 2020, and it’s ongoing. We're currently working on another project with their team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I'm incredibly pleased with iDevBand's performance. We work in sprints, and they always complete tasks on time. Apart from their valuable suggestions that definitely improved our mobile app's performance, they also delivered results quickly. In general, I can say that they work much better than the other companies I've collaborated with in the past.

How did iDevBand perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Slack, iMessage, and phone calls. iDevBand is a responsive and well-structured team — they always come prepared with useful ideas and suggestions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

iDevBand is a precise team that takes each project as their own and thinks about it clearly to add valuable input.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I'm pleased with our collaboration, and I haven't encountered any areas that need improvement.

Communicate your project scope and goals clearly from the get-go. iDevBand's team will take it from there and deliver your needs.

I’m the CEO of a small IT company. Our company is developing a voice analysis platform designed for call center managers.

We contacted iDevBand to build the voice analyzer platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

For this project, they were developing both the front- and backend. They are not just our programmers or developers, so they also focus on the product and find a way to sell it. They've worked on the project since the start, and they also look for ways to market the product and obtain the best solution to the problem.

What is the team composition?

My main contacts are Daniel (CEO) and Vojtěch (President). They are like the government of iDevBand. I also work with a marketing person, a frontend developer, and a backend developer. They are available 24/7 for everything that I want.

How did you come to work with iDevBand s.r.o?

The first product we did together was a mobile application, which started in August 2017.

How much have you invested with them?

We have invested about $230,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The development of the voice analysis project started around 2019. We are still working on this project, and we will be working on it for another 1–2 years.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re the right company to work with. I have no bad words about them. The people are just amazing at doing what they do. I’ve had a nice experience working with them, and I hope to continue working with them in the future.

How did iDevBand s.r.o perform from a project management standpoint?

We are getting updates twice a week. We know how the work is going for our products. We also do personal meetings almost every day. I can also go and work with them so I can see how the product is coming along.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their best characteristic is that all the people who work in iDevBand are like a family.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Right now, there is nothing to improve. They do a perfect job, and I believe they will succeed in the future.

Any advice for potential customers?

It's good company. Just stay with them.
