The ideil. team created a financial media platform and a space for partner publications. They integrated their proprietary content management product — Published! As a result, we developed a service that aggregates exchange rate information from banks in Ukraine, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic, accumulates historical data, and serves as a source of financial information for visitors from various countries.

• After the media launch, the traffic to our service increased more than 80 times;

What stood out as most impressive and unique about this company was the high-quality support we received after each release. The ideil. team consistently provided excellent post-launch assistance. Additionally, their specialists demonstrated a high level of expertise and responded to our requests very quickly, which made a big difference throughout the project.

One area for improvement could be in upselling additional services. The team is highly skilled, but they don’t always showcase the full range of their capabilities. Proactively offering more solutions or suggestions could bring even more value to clients.

We are one of the biggest media companies in Ukraine and owns a leading news site in the country with over 20 million unique visitors (Google Analytics) monthly. I was the editor in chief.

TSN.ua mobile app was outdated so we need a fast, intuitive and innovative app.

We want to increase VOD-views, stream views, page views, and, of course, revenues.

We decided to relaunch our android and iOs apps in December 2018. By the end of February, we got a draft design. By the end of March, we got final versions of Android and an iOs app's design.

At July, android and iOs prototypes were created. Ideil created a fully functional Android app by the end of September. iOs was still at development. We decided to release both apps simultaneously so we postponed Android's version. The iOs version was ready by the end of February 2020. Android app was released in March 2020, iOs - in July 2020.

We were the first Ukrainian news app with live streaming in our own player, picture technology, and own podcasts.

There were easy communication and fast feedback. It generated useful and fast solutions. After the iOs-deadline was disrupted, communication wasn't so easy and feedback was poor.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The number of app downloads is increasing daily. More and more clients prefer communicating with a manager via the mobile app not Viber, Telegram or WhatsApp. We are now able to have a better quality control of the service that managers are providing to our clients.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It's been pretty smooth and well communicated so far. They're very flexible to our constantly changing expectations. We're using Redmine as a task tracker and Telegram group chat for ongoing communication.

The team provides a preliminary evaluation of the scope as per the requirements we provide in Redmine. Sometimes it results in +15-20% of a kick-off scope mostly because ideil always has great suggestions on how to improve user experience and also because there is always smth we didn't take into consideration when describing our requirements.

They are quality great people with excellent soft skills which make things fun. :) They are also proactive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Sometimes deadlines are not met. But the reason is not always because of their performance.
